Ask Me to create a new heart within you, because your old heart belongs to the world. The ruler of this world—the devil—has filled it with all kinds of sinful desires. Your heart followed him, imitating the ways of this world.

Whether someone seems good or bad, they are still under the domain of the devil. When the heart follows him, people become selfish and proud, chasing after their own desires and greed. They hide behind lies, lack honesty, replace peace and love with anger and rage, and use deception to corrupt and weaken others. These are all things I detest. Yet many live in sin without even realizing it.

Can you truly change your heart by your own strength? It’s incredibly difficult. When one trial passes, another temptation from the devil comes the next day. Can you resist it? Isn’t it so easy to get angry when someone says something you don’t like? All these outbursts and conflicts are stirred up by the devil. He keeps you in a state of sorrow and restlessness. Because you lack the strength to resist, you fall into sin and offend Me.

That’s why you need to pray for power from above to truly change.

I pray you gain wisdom and come to understand: a heart shaped by this world belongs to the devil, and it will only keep you wandering in the ways of the world. The result of sin is death, and that road leads to destruction. So ask Me to create in you a new heart—one that is set apart from the world.

Not like others who worship the idols in their hearts.

Not like those who chase after worldly trends.

Not like those who live only to satisfy their appetites.

Not like those who indulge their desires and do whatever they please, living only for themselves.

May you be born of Me—given a new heart and a new life.

I draw you to Myself with love. If you believe and are willing to accept, you will receive it.

May you have a new heart like Christ’s—gentle, kind, slow to anger. A heart that brings glory to God and benefits others. One that doesn’t seek its own gain or cause others to stumble, but seeks the good of all, and works to help others receive the grace of salvation.

Don’t chase after greed, but pursue what is good and right in God’s eyes. Don’t set your eyes on the world, but fix them on the hope of heaven.

May you also receive a new spirit—a vibrant, living spirit. Pray to be filled with the Holy Spirit, so that He may live in your heart and guide every step you take. Let go of your past sins, walk away from the path of darkness, and walk according to the truth. Do what is right in My eyes, and you will walk securely and joyfully on the road to eternal life—early receiving the abundant grace I long to give you.

Scripture

Ezekiel

Chapter 18 Verses 30-31

“Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, declares the Lord GOD.

Repent and turn from all your transgressions,

lest iniquity be your ruin.

Cast away from you all the transgressions that you have committed,

and make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit!

Why will you die, O house of Israel?”

2 Corinthians

Chapter 5 Verses 14-17

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this:

that one has died for all, therefore all have died;

and he died for all,

that those who live might no longer live for themselves

but for him who for their sake died and was raised.

From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh.

Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh,

we regard him thus no longer.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.

The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

1 Peter

Chapter 3 Verses 15-18

“But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy,

always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you

for a reason for the hope that is in you;

yet do it with gentleness and respect,

having a good conscience,

so that, when you are slandered,

those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

For it is better to suffer for doing good,

if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.

For Christ also suffered once for sins,

the righteous for the unrighteous,

that he might bring us to God,

being put to death in the flesh

but made alive in the spirit.”

1 Timothy

Chapter 6 Verses 10-12, 14

“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils.

It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith

and pierced themselves with many pangs.

But as for you, O man of God, flee these things.

Pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, gentleness.

Fight the good fight of the faith.

Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called

and about which you made the good confession

in the presence of many witnesses.

… to keep the commandment unstained and free from reproach

until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
