(2026.04.30 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
After Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they realized they were naked. They felt ashamed, were afraid to face God, and hid themselves from His presence. Yet God did not leave or abandon them because they had sinned. Instead, He called out to them and asked, “Who told you that you were naked?” God already knew what Adam and Eve had done. He asked this so they would reflect on their actions, face their wrongdoing, and stop running away from their sin.
The same is true for those who are still living in sin or those who have fallen into sin because of a moment of weakness. Before God, nothing is hidden. He knows every thought, intention, and action of every person. No one can hide from Him. Nothing that happens escapes His knowledge. If a person refuses to face these things in this life, they will still have to face them one day. Therefore, while we are still living in this world, we should cleanse ourselves, turn away from sin, and make things right before God, so that we will have no excuse in the future.
If your conscience convicts you and you feel ashamed because of your sin, take time to examine yourself carefully. Ask yourself where you are weak, where you have fallen, and where you have failed to glorify God. Sincerely ask God to give you the strength to face your sin with courage and overcome it. Do not let sin become a heavy burden that keeps you living in pain and fear. Life is precious. Do not waste the time God has given you, and do not continue living under the condemnation of sin. Instead, turn back to God without delay, be reconciled to Him, and enjoy the joy and peace that He gives.
For God is love. His anger lasts only for a moment, but His mercy endures. Even though Adam and Eve felt ashamed after they sinned, God still had compassion on them. He made garments of skin and clothed them, covering their shame. In the same way, the Lord Jesus Christ took upon Himself the sins of all people and washed away our sins with His precious blood. God forgives our transgressions through His love and covers our sins. Therefore, we should make up our minds to put on Christ and be clothed in holiness.
When you face troubles or difficulties, do not be quick to blame others. After Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, God asked Adam, “Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” Adam replied, “The woman You gave to be with me gave me the fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” Then the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
Instead of examining themselves first, they blamed someone else. But was the problem really unrelated to themselves? Wasn’t everything that happened because they failed to obey God’s command and were led away by their own desires?
We should first examine ourselves whenever we go through difficulties. Ask whether we have stumbled or fallen into sin. Do not shift the blame onto others, because that will never help us turn away from sin. Instead, it keeps us walking in unrighteousness. We should also consider whether others have been drawn into sin because of our own actions. If God disciplines us, we should not complain or blame others, nor should we spend our time trapped in sorrow. Instead, we should wake up in time, recognize our own faults, and keep God’s commandments in our hearts so that our spiritual life will remain strong until the day we meet the Lord.
Those who have not yet come to know God should consider whether they are willing to respond to God when He calls them and when the message of eternal life in the kingdom of heaven is shared with them.We should understand that because of Adam’s sin, all people have a sinful nature, and each of us has also committed sins that fall short of God’s righteousness. Therefore, we should repent, stop continuing in sin, and allow our lives to be renewed through the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. In this way, when the day comes, we will be able to stand before God with confidence and without fear.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
