    (2026.05.27. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

    Do not let sin remain in your life. Make every effort to remove it. Do not give the devil any opportunity to work. Human beings are naturally weak, and if we are not careful and watchful, we can easily fall into temptation. This was exactly what happened in Noah’s generation. When people’s sin reached its full measure, they followed their own ways, turned away from God’s path, and in the end came under His righteous judgment.

    A land filled with sin cannot receive God’s blessing or enjoy His presence. Think about what God did and why He destroyed the sinful world of Noah’s generation with the flood. The judgment of the flood revealed God’s righteousness and showed how deeply He hates sin. Yet God’s desire is not for people to perish, but for them to turn away from evil and return to Him. Noah and his family obeyed God’s commands, and after the flood God continued to bless them.The earth once again produced fruits and vegetables, and the sky, the land, and the seas were filled with every kind of living creature.God also gave people abundant food for their daily needs. This is the grace that God has given to all people.

    After the judgment, God still called people to return to Him. Everyone who is willing to put God at the center of their life and come before Him with a heart of reverence and obedience will receive the grace He gives. Just as in Noah’s time, Noah offered a burnt offering to God with a heart that was fully devoted to Him. God accepted his offering, revealed His mercy, and made a covenant with mankind. Never again would every living creature be destroyed by a flood, nor would a flood ever again destroy the earth. This did not mean that sin would no longer be judged. Rather, it showed that God was still giving people time and opportunity to repent. This is His grace. Whenever clouds cover the earth, a rainbow appears among them. God gave this sign of grace so that people would remember that there is an Almighty God who created all things and rules over all things.

    When people go through suffering, times of refining, or seasons of darkness, if their hearts remain turned toward God, the rain will eventually stop, and the sky will become clear again. In the valleys of life, people come to see their own weakness, recognize their unrighteousness, and also see God’s righteousness. They begin to understand that God’s discipline comes from His love. He refines us so that we may be cleansed, put away the sinful nature of the old self, be corrected by Him, and walk once again on the path of life.

    His arm has not become too short to save, nor has He dealt with people according to their sins. He continues to show mercy and lovingkindness. As long as people are willing to sincerely repent, believe in His power and His promises, and choose to live according to the Lord’s will, their lives will be renewed every time they turn back to Him. Each return to Him is a new beginning.

    Remember God’s great love for us, and respond to Him with a heart of obedience. Give thanks that God has shown mercy to us, and be willing to dedicate your whole life to Him. Because He loves us and has given us life, we should be determined to become new creations, allowing God’s Word and the truth of the Bible to cleanse and refine us. As we come to know His goodness and trust in the promises He will fulfill, our hearts will be stirred to love Him more, fear Him more, and draw closer to Him. Then we will be filled with strength, our faith will be strengthened, and we will become people who both hear God’s Word and faithfully live it out.

    May we spend our whole lives abiding in God’s love, no longer living according to the flesh, but becoming spiritual people. May our eyes no longer be fixed only on this temporary earthly life, but instead be filled with the hope of eternal life. May we also share with others the salvation we have received, proclaim the name of the Lord Jesus, and lead more people to receive God’s grace and become those who truly belong to Him and worship Him. And while the time of grace is still here, may more people turn back to Him, may the number of those who are saved increase day by day, and may more people who have received His grace give all glory to God.

    Scripture

    Genesis
    Chapter 8 Verses 20-22

    And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

    And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

    While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

    Genesis
    Chapter 9 Verses 11-13

    And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.

    And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations:

    I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.

    Ezekiel
    Chapter 18 Verse 23

    Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

    Jeremiah
    Chapter 18 Verses 7-8

    At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

    If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

    (2026.05.26. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

    Before the judgment of the flood came, God commanded Noah to bring both clean and unclean animals into the ark. Among them, the clean animals were brought in by sevens, showing that God values the distinction between what is clean and what is unclean. After Noah came out of the ark, he offered some of the clean animals to God as sacrifices. This reminds us that God delights in holiness and calls His people to leave behind all uncleanness, be set apart for Him, and no longer live in sin. Therefore, everyone who belongs to God should pursue holiness, devote themselves to Him with a wholehearted heart, and live a life that pleases Him.

    Those who are called by the Lord’s name should care about whether their spiritual life has been weakened. The God we believe in is holy, and He hates sin. We should seek the Lord, come before Him in humility and prayer, and turn away from evil. We should regularly examine ourselves to see whether we have drifted from the truth or allowed uncleanness into our lives. Whether in our thoughts, what we look at, what we say, or what we do, if anything is not in line with God’s righteousness, or if there is still sin that has not been dealt with, we should repent and turn away from it. Always keep your spiritual garments clean. God hears the prayers of those who sincerely humble themselves and return to Him. He forgives their sins and, in His mercy, disciplines and guides them so they will not fall into the destruction that sin brings. This is directly connected to whether a person remains faithful to the truth and continues walking on the path that leads to eternal life.

    On the other hand, if a person refuses to examine their own sin and continues living in it, even if they appear devoted in serving the Lord and seem faithful on the outside, their life is still unclean and will not be pleasing to God. If someone knows their own sin but refuses to deal with it, allowing it to remain in their heart without repentance, God will not hear their prayers. God searches every heart. He knows who truly obeys Him, who continues to live in uncleanness, and who has failed to bear the fruit that pleases Him. People may deceive others, but no one can deceive God. Therefore, do not be someone who only looks faithful on the outside while lacking true spiritual life within. Instead, leave all uncleanness behind and sincerely return to God.

    While there is still time, turn back to God. When you realize that you have wandered from the truth, leave the path that leads to destruction without delay. Since you have been redeemed by the Lord and belong to God’s people, and have entered the ark of salvation that He has prepared, treasure this honorable calling. Leave behind all uncleanness, humble yourself, repent, cleanse your spiritual garments, and prepare yourself to stand before the Lord with confidence.

    Throughout your life, hold firmly to God and never let go of His promises. Do not fix your eyes on this world, but regard the things of this world as something worth leaving behind. Live as a person who fears God, and faithfully walk in His ways. God will surely pour out abundant blessings on those who fear Him.

    Scripture

    1 Peter

    Chapter 1 Verses 15–16

    But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
    Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

    2 Chronicles

    Chapter 7 Verses 14–16

    If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
    Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.
    For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

    Psalms

    Chapter 66 Verse 18

    If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.

    1 Chronicles

    Chapter 28 Verse 9

    And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

    Revelation

    Chapter 16 Verse 15

    Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

  • (5) From the Days of Noah: Learning How to Fear God
    img 5077
    God’s Word for you

    (2026.05.25. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

    Become a person who fears God, for God blesses those who look to Him and follow His will. He watches over them throughout their lives and will give them eternal blessings in the life to come.

    Noah lived through the destruction of the great flood. He remained in the ark, patiently waiting as God refined him until the new day that God had prepared finally arrived. After God judged that sinful generation and the earth was made clean, God led Noah onto dry ground so that he could begin a new life.

    After Noah came out of the ark, he did not first think about his own future. He did not make plans for how he would survive, nor did he look for a place to settle down. He did not put his own needs first or depend on himself. Instead, he put God first in his life. He sought God first, built an altar, and offered sacrifices to Him. This is the kind of person who truly fears God. Noah knew that he was still alive not because of his own strength, but because of God’s mercy. He remembered God’s grace in his heart, gave thanks to Him, and remembered His salvation.

    The sacrifices Noah offered came from the clean animals that God had instructed him to bring into the ark beforehand. He did not keep the best for himself or put his own needs first. Instead, he offered the best to God. Because Noah feared God and honored Him above all else, God accepted his offering. Then God said that He would no longer curse the ground because of mankind or destroy every living creature as He had done before.

    Those who have received the saving grace of the Lord Jesus should also be like Noah. Remember the Lord’s mercy and loving kindness. Treasure the grace you have received, give thanks to God, worship Him with all your heart, and make Him the center of your life. Be determined to live a new and holy life, placing this new life into God’s hands. Remember that we are still alive today not because of ourselves, but because God has preserved our lives. Our peace and joy come from His mercy and His loving care.

    People should be reconciled to God, turn away from sin, and walk on the path of righteousness. Those who walk in the way that pleases God will receive the blessings and promises He has prepared for them.

    Do not think that once you have received salvation, everything is already settled and that the things of heaven no longer require your attention. Do not stop spending time and effort drawing near to God and seeking the truth. Instead, do not become so busy with your own life and plans, enjoying the freedom of this world, that you forget God’s grace and the importance of eternal life.Do not place God in a secondary position, giving Him only whatever time is left after everything else is done. Do not become so absorbed in this world that your body, mind, and spirit grow weary, causing you to drift farther from God until even your love for the Lord and your desire to serve Him fade away.

    Do not be like the nine lepers who were healed. After receiving God’s grace, they left without returning to thank the Lord or give glory to God.

    Humbly come before God in prayer, worship, and fellowship with Him. Willingly offer your gifts, your time, and your resources, for everything we have today comes from God’s mercy. Live for the Lord and offer Him a sacrifice that rises like a pleasing aroma, one that is acceptable to Him.

    Follow God’s leading, walk with Him, and live in the grace of His presence. Only then can a person truly walk on the path of blessing and receive the blessings God gives, both in this life and for all eternity.

    Scripture

    Genesis
    Chapter 8 Verses 20-21

    And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD;
    and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl,
    and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

    for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;
    neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.

    Psalms
    Chapter 128 Verse 1

    Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD;
    that walketh in his ways.

    Matthew
    Chapter 6 Verse 33

    But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
    and all these things shall be added unto you.

    Psalms
    Chapter 116 Verses 12-18

    What shall I render unto the LORD
    for all his benefits toward me?

    I will take the cup of salvation,
    and call upon the name of the LORD.

    I will pay my vows unto the LORD
    now in the presence of all his people.

    Precious in the sight of the LORD
    is the death of his saints.

    O LORD, truly I am thy servant;
    I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid:
    thou hast loosed my bonds.

    I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving,
    and will call upon the name of the LORD.

    I will pay my vows unto the LORD
    now in the presence of all his people.

  • (4) From the Days of Noah: Learning Obedience and Waiting for God’s Timing
    img 5028
    God’s Word for you

    choose your own language

    (2026.05.22. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

    God judged the sinful generation of Noah. Noah and his family were kept safe by God inside the ark as they endured the raging waves and violent storms. After the ark came to rest and the floodwaters gradually receded, Noah remained inside the ark. He did not lose patience while waiting, nor did he act on his own as soon as he removed the covering of the ark and saw that the ground had dried. Instead, he quietly waited for God’s command. Only after the earth was completely dry did God tell Noah to bring out his wife, his sons, his daughters-in-law, and every kind of living creature so they could multiply and fill the earth. Only then did Noah obey and leave the ark. After God had cleansed the earth that had been defiled by sin, He gave mankind a new beginning and once again poured out His blessing.

    Those who belong to God and walk the path toward His heavenly kingdom should also learn from Noah’s family, who were protected inside the ark. We should learn to remain in the Lord, receive His protection and guidance, and obediently and patiently wait for His appointed time. Once we have received salvation, we should no longer decide our own direction or rush ahead according to our own plans. Every child of God faces spiritual battles each day. Without a heart that fears God, it is easy to follow our own desires and drift away from the path He is leading us on. Since we belong to God, we must remain connected to Him and never leave His guidance. Having begun the journey toward His heavenly kingdom, we should wait quietly for His leading with hearts that are filled with reverence, obedience, and patience. We are God’s workmanship, and He knows when to lead us forward and when to have us stop and wait.

    Entrust everything to God. Do not plan your future according to your own thoughts or insist on walking the path you have chosen for yourself. Human beings are weak, and before our spiritual lives have matured, our eyes are often fixed on this world and only on what we can see. We are easily led by our own judgment. When that happens, it becomes difficult to obey God’s leading or quietly wait for His timing. Our spiritual growth will become stagnant, our lives will fail to produce the good fruit of righteousness, and we may gradually drift away from the path God has prepared for us.

    We are God’s workmanship. Through His guidance and refinement, He teaches us to be patient and to wait for His appointed time. Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, and God will surely show grace to those who wait for Him. If our hearts truly turn to God, then when His time comes, He will reveal the way ahead and lead us to walk in His will. Therefore, learn to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and do what is right in God’s sight. Do not run ahead according to your own will, but let God lead the way before you. When difficulties arise, do not panic or rush to solve them in your own way. Instead, first entrust everything to the Lord, pray wholeheartedly, and patiently wait for His answer. Even if you do not immediately see God at work, continue to entrust everything to Him. Never stop praying, do not let your circumstances shake your faith, and do not lose heart. Stand firm through the testing of your faith, quietly wait in the Lord, and you will receive His grace and blessing. In this way, you will no longer live by what you see or depend on your own understanding. Instead, you will learn to follow God’s leading, walk forward by faith on the path He has prepared for you, and continue faithfully until you have finished the journey of sanctification.

    Scripture

    Genesis
    Chapter 8 Verses 13-19

    And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

    And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

    And God spake unto Noah, saying,

    Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

    Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

    And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him:

    Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.

    Lamentations
    Chapter 3 Verses 25-26

    The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

    It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.

    Proverbs
    Chapter 3 Verses 5-7

    Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

    In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

    Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

    Isaiah
    Chapter 40 Verse 31

    But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

  • (3) From the Days of Noah: Seeing the Difference Between a Holy Life and an Unholy Life
    img 5018 1
    God’s Word for you

    choose your own language

    (May 20, 2026 — Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

    When a person receives the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, has their sins forgiven, and begins the journey of living a life set apart for God, are they willing to entrust the road ahead to God in their daily life and in every choice they make? Are they willing to stop relying on their own wisdom, thoughts, and ideas as they did before, leave behind the fleshly ways of the old self, and learn to live according to the truth?

    In the generation that God judged for its sin, the floodwaters gradually went down. After forty days, Noah opened the window of the ark and sent out a raven. The raven kept flying back and forth until the water on the earth had dried up, but it did not return to the ark. This also reminds us that some believers today have entered into salvation, yet they do not value a holy life. They still live according to the thoughts and desires of their old self. Their eyes still long for the world. They are not watchful or careful, and they allow the uncleanness of the world to stain their lives, gradually losing their awareness of sin. Those who belong to God must not continue living in uncleanness. They must leave behind the fleshly ways of the old self, pursue holiness, and keep themselves away from sin.

    Noah then sent out a dove to see whether the water had gone down from the earth. But because water still covered the whole earth, the dove could not find a place to rest its feet, so it returned to Noah in the ark. Noah reached out his hand and brought it back into the ark. This also teaches believers to examine their own lives. Are they like this dove, unwilling to remain in what is unclean and impure? Are they watchful against sin, willing to be set apart for God, depending on the Lord in their daily lives, and pursuing a holy life so that they may walk on the path that pleases God?

    After Noah brought the dove back into the ark, he waited another seven days and sent it out again. This time, the dove did not return immediately as it had before. In the evening, it came back to the ark with a freshly plucked olive leaf in its beak. This also teaches believers that spiritual growth requires time and training. It is like walking through the wilderness under God’s guidance. Although a person may go through difficult trials and refining, they can still hold on to hope. Through these experiences, God gradually renews a person’s life, purifies them through trials, makes them holy, and brings them into a new stage of spiritual renewal. They begin to taste the sweetness that comes from spiritual growth and receive the peace and grace given by the Lord.

    Noah waited another seven days and sent the dove out once again. This time, the dove did not return.

    When a person’s spiritual life has gone through training and renewal, they should no longer remain like a spiritual infant in an immature and undeveloped stage. Instead, they should grow into maturity, become fully equipped, strong, and powerful, and be able to follow the Lord’s footsteps with determination. They should continue moving upward on the heavenly path, like an eagle spreading its wings and soaring.

    The journey of faith does not end at the starting point of receiving salvation. A person’s life must continue to be renewed and purified by the Holy Spirit, gradually growing into maturity. When a person is willing to accept God’s training, leave uncleanness behind, and pursue holiness, they will be able to bear all kinds of spiritual fruits of righteousness, live a life that is pleasing to God, and be accepted by Him.

    Scripture

    2 Corinthians
    Chapter 6 Verses 14-17

    Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
    for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?
    and what communion hath light with darkness?
    And what concord hath Christ with Belial?
    or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
    And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
    for ye are the temple of the living God;
    as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them;
    and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
    and touch not the unclean thing;
    and I will receive you.

    1 Peter
    Chapter 1 Verses 13-15

    Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober,
    and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you
    at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
    As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
    But as he which hath called you is holy,
    so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.

    1 Peter
    Chapter 1 Verses 6-7

    Wherein ye greatly rejoice,
    though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
    That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,
    though it be tried with fire,
    might be found unto praise and honour and glory
    at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

    John
    Chapter 15 Verses 1-2

    I am the true vine,
    and my Father is the husbandman.
    Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away:
    and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it,
    that it may bring forth more fruit.

    The first sentence should begin by saying, “In the name of the  Lord Jesus  I pray.”

    Then

    Praise the Lord by saying, “Hallelujah!”“Praise the Lord Jesus!”

    Spend time to speak with God from your heart and ask Him to fill you with the Holy Spirit.

    Conclude your prayer with, “Amen.”
