(2026.03.19 — The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

Under the sun, people go through hard work and receive their portion in life, and they will also face trials and suffering; but if they remain in the Lord, they can still enjoy the love of God. Our hearts were created by God, and He knows the needs of His children and understands our weaknesses. He cares for and has mercy on those who fear Him and hope in His lovingkindness. Therefore, if we want to receive the grace that comes from God, we should stay away from evil, continue walking on the path the Lord has prepared for mankind, and draw near to Him. The children of God will truly experience His love and receive the peace He gives.

The Lord allows His beloved children to enjoy joy even under the sun. This kind of joy is different from the happiness of the world. The happiness people of the world have is only a temporary satisfaction of the eyes and heart during certain moments and seasons in this empty and passing world. Their labor is only for this life, and their focus remains only on material things and worldly values. But what comes from the world can never fill the human heart. Instead, it causes greed and selfish desires to grow, leaving people constantly unsatisfied. Without heavenly wisdom, they cannot see what truly has value, and they spend their whole lives working for things they cannot take with them after death. Their lives become nothing more than eating and drinking in darkness, without hope, filled with troubles, sickness, and anger. This is not a beautiful life, but a harmful and miserable one. Waiting for them in the end are the grave and death.

But you should live in the Lord and enjoy the blessings God gives through your labor under the sun. This enjoyment is not about indulging sinful desires, but about living a godly life during the days God has given you, quietly doing your work and faithfully fulfilling your responsibilities. Live by the work of your own hands, do honest work, do not be lazy, do not try to take dishonest shortcuts, and do not practice unrighteousness. Be content in all things, live uprightly, and help those who are in need. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, putting them before everything else, and live your days on earth in the fear of God. Then God will give wealth and blessings to the children He loves, allowing them to enjoy what they have, receive their rightful portion, and rejoice in their labor. This is the grace God gives. God also gives joy in the heart, so that a person is not crushed by heavy burdens or constantly anxious about life. By entrusting everything to God, the heart can find rest. This too is grace from God under the sun.

The children of God should treasure the time God has given them and not waste their days. Serve the Lord with a sincere and reverent heart, live a life that glorifies God, bear witness for the Lord, diligently pursue spiritual growth, build up your spiritual life, and value God’s teachings and commandments. These are the most important things in this life. In this way, people can enjoy the grace God gives under the sun, live this life with peace and joy, and in the future receive the eternal blessings that will never perish.

Chapter 5 Verses 10,12-20

“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.

The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep.

There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt.

But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand.

As he came forth of his mother’s womb, naked shall he return to go as he came, and shall take nothing of his labour, which he may carry away in his hand.

And this also is a sore evil, that in all points as he came, so shall he go: and what profit hath he that hath laboured for the wind?

All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness.

Behold that which I have seen: it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labour that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life, which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.

For he shall not much remember the days of his life; because God answereth him in the joy of his heart.”

Ecclesiastes
Chapter 9 Verses 7-9

“Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.”

Matthew
Chapter 6 Verses 31-34

“Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

Ecclesiastes
Chapter 12 Verses 12-14

“And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”
