(2026.06.26. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)
True joy and peace come from having God with us. When God is with us, His grace is always with us. God is our ever-present help and our strength. Even when we face hardships and trials, as long as we hold on to our faith and fully rely on Him, we can become strong instead of fearful and weak.
Our hearts should always look to God in heaven, because His grace and mercy are without limit. Do not keep your eyes fixed on this world, because it is filled with evil and corruption, and no one can find true peace in it. Today, disasters are happening frequently throughout the world. Earthquakes, floods, wars, and plagues continue to occur one after another. Because of human sin, the world has fallen under corruption and a curse. Just as the Bible foretold long ago, all these things will happen in the last days. Through these signs, God warns the people of the world that the day of the Lord will surely come, and judgment will also come. The day is near, and people should repent and turn to God so that their souls may be saved. If people only see the changes taking place in the world but do not understand what God is revealing through them, and still refuse to repent and turn to Him, they will live in disappointment, discouragement, and anxiety, living a life without hope.
As children of God, we may sometimes face difficult situations, as though we are going through a storm that does not seem to end, with many problems that cannot be solved right away. But do not lose heart. Continue to be strong in the Lord and faithfully do God’s will. We have the hope of salvation, and we are waiting for the eternal blessings God has promised. As we go through times of testing and refinement, we must continue to hold on to our faith and firmly follow the Lord. Even while our bodies are still suffering, we can still rejoice in the Lord, because we have received God, and God has also received us as people who are pleasing to Him. The Lord is with us, so we do not need to fear any of the difficulties we face. Our spirits should still rejoice and sing, and our mouths should praise God. We should follow closely in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus, firmly believing that He loves us and will surely keep us to the end, so that we may inherit the eternal life God has promised.
May you become a person who fears God, drawing near to Him every day and walking according to His ways. God will surely be with those who fear Him. With the Lord’s presence, there is true joy, peace, strength, and eternal hope.
Scripture
Matthew
Chapter 24 Verses 3-4, 6-13
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,
Tell us, when shall these things be?
and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive you.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:
see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
And then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise,
and shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound,
the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end,
the same shall be saved.
Habakkuk
Chapter 3 Verses 17-18
Although the fig tree shall not blossom,
neither shall fruit be in the vines;
the labour of the olive shall fail,
and the fields shall yield no meat;
the flock shall be cut off from the fold,
and there shall be no herd in the stalls:
Yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
James
Chapter 1 Verses 2-4
My brethren, count it all joy
when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this,
that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
But let patience have her perfect work,
that ye may be perfect and entire,
wanting nothing.
Psalms
Chapter 34 Verses 1, 5-9
I will bless the LORD at all times:
his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
They looked unto him, and were lightened:
and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him,
and delivereth them.
O taste and see that the LORD is good:
blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
O fear the LORD, ye his saints:
for there is no want to them that fear him.
