(February 2, 2026 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
After being baptized, your sins have been washed away, so you must clearly understand your identity. No longer live like the foolish, who are numb to sin and do not hold on to holiness; for we have been chosen to become God’s children, co-heirs with Christ, citizens of God’s kingdom.
Therefore, pursue the truth and rely on the truth to build your spiritual house. God did not call us to continue living in the pursuit of the world, loving the world, and delighting in pleasure; He called us to become holy and blameless children, priests who belong to His kingdom and bring Him glory. For this reason, we must diligently build our spiritual house, so that the Lord may dwell within us and we may be united with Him.
We must walk on the path that is right and righteous in God’s sight, live out the likeness of Christ, live a life that is precious in God’s eyes, and bear good works, so that the Gentiles may see God in those who believe. Let them witness God’s work and see how a person, illuminated by the Lord, walks in the light and how their life is transformed.
For the Lord leads people out of darkness into light, so that they no longer live in darkness, no longer remain in sin without peace and with fear in their hearts, no longer wander in life, facing the fear of an uncertain future, or suffer under the weight of life’s burdens. Through the redemption of the Lord Jesus, a person’s life is renewed, turned toward the light, and in that light receives true freedom, as well as joy and peace that come from the Lord.
Let the Gentiles see God’s salvation, see how God upholds people with His mighty hand, see His faithfulness in delivering sinners from the power of the evil one, see His love and mercy, and see the grace He gives so that people may still have hope in this life. Let those who were once in sin, disconnected from the Lord, separated from the life of Christ, and therefore without the Lord’s mercy and protection, become people who receive His mercy, His loving grace, and His care.
Make yourself a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, offered to Him. Become the Lord’s letter of recommendation, displaying God’s glory through your life and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom with your life. Live each day with reverence and godly fear, walking on the Lord’s path and glorifying His name. May the Spirit of God move every person who has been called by grace and is willing to follow the Lord, so that we may live in this way, for this is the rightful service of those who have received the grace of redemption.
Scripture
Exodus
Chapter 19 Verses 5–6

then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
Leviticus
Chapter 20 Verse 26
And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy,
and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
Isaiah
Chapter 60 Verses 1–2
Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
and gross darkness the people:
but the LORD shall arise upon thee,
and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
Romans
Chapter 12 Verses 1–2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
