(July 17, 2026. Comfort from the Holy Spirit)

The one true God in heaven is the Almighty God who created all things and made mankind. God loves the people of the world, and He has prepared abundant grace for His children. We should become truly holy children who belong to God, no longer be friends with the world, and keep ourselves from being stained by sin. We should remain in the Lord so that we may enjoy all the blessings God has prepared for us.

To receive the grace that comes from God—grace that the world cannot give—we must strive to rely on the Lord, put away sin, and cleanse ourselves from all impurity. We should follow the example of the Lord Jesus and become holy and blameless. We should give our hearts completely to God, leave the world behind, and no longer belong to the world. We should not live as people of the flesh, but become spiritual people. We should not depend on the world, but rely on the Lord.

When we truly become children who belong to God, we can enjoy the blessings He gives us. We receive eternal life and spiritual wisdom from heaven. We have the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit, bringing us peace and joy. The blessings God gives set us free from the power of sin. Our lives are renewed, enabling us to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, become holy and full of spiritual beauty, and receive the honored identity of being God’s children.

God also gives us blessings in this life, something the people of the world cannot understand. He gives us hope even while we live in this empty world. During our days on earth, we have Someone to rely on; we will not be in need, and we can live with peace and security. What He gives us has already been prepared before we even ask—things beyond what we could ever imagine. Therefore, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and do not worry about your life in this world.

God will give you a new life and cause you to be born again in the Lord. You and all your generations should hold firmly to the true faith and obey God’s commandments, so that this spiritual life may remain forever.

The promises God has given us are firm and will never be shaken. The blessings He gives are abundant and everlasting, lasting forever and ever.

Every day, I will look to the God who made me, because He gives me life and breath and keeps me alive. He has awakened my soul from being dead in sins and transgressions. He nourishes me with His word and makes my life strong, so that I can hold firmly to the hope of eternal life and remain fully confident in the wonderful future God has promised.

My heart rejoices and sings because of Him. I will thank and praise Him all my life and set my heart on holding firmly to His way, because I know that the blessings He gives are exceedingly good, abundant, and everlasting. God Himself is the greatest blessing of my life. Whom do I have besides Him?

Scripture

Deuteronomy
Chapter 28 Verses 1-2

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God,
to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day,
that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee,
if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.”

Genesis
Chapter 49 Verses 22-26

“Joseph is a fruitful bough,
even a fruitful bough by a well;
whose branches run over the wall:

The archers have sorely grieved him,
and shot at him, and hated him:

But his bow abode in strength,
and the arms of his hands were made strong
by the hands of the mighty God of Jacob;
(from thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)

Even by the God of thy father, who shall help thee;
and by the Almighty, who shall bless thee
with blessings of heaven above,
blessings of the deep that lieth under,
blessings of the breasts, and of the womb:

The blessings of thy father have prevailed
above the blessings of my progenitors
unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills:
they shall be on the head of Joseph,
and on the crown of the head of him
that was separate from his brethren.”

Ephesians
Chapter 1 Verses 3-7

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings
in heavenly places in Christ:

According as he hath chosen us in him
before the foundation of the world,
that we should be holy and without blame
before him in love:

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children
by Jesus Christ to himself,
according to the good pleasure of his will,

To the praise of the glory of his grace,
wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace.”
