God’s Word for you

(February 12, 2026. The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

To truly know God, you must understand that He is a righteous God, and that He is the God who judges according to the truth. He gives mercy and grace to those who love the truth, walk in His way, and are willing to obey the will of the Heavenly Father. Such people are the children of God. They can abide in the Lord, their life can continue, and the Lord also abides in them.

But those who do not keep the truth, who still refuse to repent, and who practice unrighteousness will receive judgment and punishment. This is because the word of God is not in their hearts. They do not understand the truth, and they do not know the righteousness of God. As a result, they remain trapped in sin for a long time and do not keep God’s commandments. Such people do not know God, and they do not value the importance of holiness. If a person still lives in sin in this life and is unwilling to repent, he cannot receive the new life that comes from God in this present life, nor can he receive the change of the body when the Lord returns, so that what is perishable may become imperishable and enter that holy kingdom.

The children of God should pursue becoming holy people, so that they may have a part with the Lord and be called righteous on the day of judgment, receiving the inheritance of the eternal kingdom. As for those who do not fear God and still live in sin without repenting before their life ends, what awaits them is God’s righteous judgment.

You should strive with all your heart to know God and understand what pleases Him. Since you have already received the truth that God has taught through the Bible, you should keep His word and His commandments in your heart and live out righteousness in your daily life. Those who practice righteousness are born of God, not born of the world, and they are God’s children.

For if a person truly knows God, he will no longer love the world and the things in the world. Instead, he will set his mind on the things above and long for the eternal reward in heaven. Because of this, he will willingly obey God’s commandments and work hard to remove the sinful nature of the old self, putting to death the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and every kind of pride in this present life.

You should also put away the old thoughts and old ways of living that were shaped by the world when you did not know God, and remove all uncleanness, so that the Spirit of God may dwell within you and turn your thoughts and intentions toward God. In this way, a person can truly repent and be transformed by the renewing of the mind. A righteous person is one who obeys the Lord’s commandments, breaks free from the control of sin, overcomes the power of sin and darkness by the truth, and becomes strong. Then darkness will leave his life, he will be illuminated by the true light, and he will become one who truly abides in the Lord, receiving peace and joy from the Lord, and also receiving the rest that the Lord gives in this life while waiting to enter that eternal rest in the future.

May you make the Lord the center of your life, never stop pursuing the truth, and truly enjoy the freedom and peace that are in the Lord.

No longer live in sin. No longer allow your weakness to give sin control over you. Do not become a person who belongs to the world, but belong to the Lord alone, become spiritually strong, and bear witness in your daily life to what God has done in you.

May you also see that through the Lord’s teaching, your life is gradually being renewed and changed, and that you continue moving forward on the path of truth, living out a life that can glorify the Lord.

Scripture

John

Chapter 17 Verse 3

“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God,

and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

Jeremiah

Chapter 9 Verses 23-24

“Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom,

neither let the mighty man glory in his might,

let not the rich man glory in his riches:

But let him that glorieth glory in this,

that he understandeth and knoweth me,

that I am the LORD which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth:

for in these things I delight, saith the LORD.”

Hosea

Chapter 6 Verse 3

“Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD:

his going forth is prepared as the morning;

and he shall come unto us as the rain,

as the latter and former rain unto the earth.”

Deuteronomy

Chapter 10 Verses 12-16

“And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee,

but to fear the LORD thy God,

to walk in all his ways,

and to love him,

and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD’S thy God,

the earth also, with all that therein is.

Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them,

and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart,

and be no more stiffnecked.”

Psalms

Chapter 15 Verses 1-2

“LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?

who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,

and speaketh the truth in his heart.”

Leviticus

Chapter 20 Verse 26

“And ye shall be holy unto me:

for I the LORD am holy,

and have severed you from other people,

that ye should be mine.”
