(2026.01.14 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
In these last days, when the world is chaotic and unstable, where is the true hope you are living for?
As the world keeps shaking, as people’s hearts grow corrupt and evil, and as darkness and conflict fill the earth, what are you really relying on?
Is it this temporary world that will eventually pass away, or the unchanging God who endures forever?
May your soul awaken, so that you can clearly see and understand why this world keeps changing and why the earth is growing old.
It is because people do not honor God as God; they do not worship the Creator or fear the one true God.
They live only by their flesh, without reverence, without knowing God’s righteousness.
As a result, sin has multiplied, and injustice fills the land.
Measured against God’s righteous and holy standard, this world has already fallen into corruption.
This world cannot bring renewal—it only grows more corrupt.
Therefore, do not place your hope in this world that is destined to be shaken, but lift your eyes to the God who rules over all things, for the course of this world still unfolds under His righteous authority.
Although people continue to live in a world influenced by the power of the evil one, and what we see around us is often darkness, evil, and chaos, God has already revealed His saving grace to mankind.
Through the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, He has carried out salvation—to rescue people from darkness, to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan back to God.
The question is whether people are willing to receive this grace by faith, choose to return to God, and hold firmly to the truth they profess.
God has already given the best blessing to those who belong to Him, and He has given us the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, bearing witness to the truth so that we may know with certainty that this hope is real and trustworthy.
No matter how the world changes or how corrupted human hearts become, the children of God remain under the care and protection of the Lord Jesus.
Their hearts are no longer controlled by fear and anxiety, but are able to enter into rest in the Lord.
Because of this, we no longer live by the flesh, but by spiritual life.
Therefore, with firm faith, rely on God’s mighty power and receive strength that comes from Him, so that you may face this ever-changing world.
Our hearts have a clear direction and true belonging—we fix our eyes on the God in heaven and do not drift with the tide.
For the Lord Jesus is our refuge and our safe harbor; we are to hide ourselves in Him.
We are also to become vessels in God’s hands, so that those around us may, through the Lord, receive this great grace together and enter into the covenant He has established.
Let God be our God; set your heart firmly to follow the Lord and faithfully keep this covenant.
In the midst of darkness, we choose to draw near to the light and to live in the light, so that the direction and belonging of our families and our lives are anchored in the Lord.
With our hearts we declare:
As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.
Scripture
Acts
Chapter 26 Verses 17–18
Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light,
and from the power of Satan unto God,
that they may receive forgiveness of sins,
and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in Me.
Colossians
Chapter 1 Verses 13–17
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son,
In whom we have redemption through His blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
Who is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
For by Him were all things created,
that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
And He is before all things,
and by Him all things consist.
Joshua
Chapter 24 Verses 13–15
And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour,
and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them;
of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth:
and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood,
and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD,
choose you this day whom ye will serve;
whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood,
or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:
but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Hebrews
Chapter 13 Verses 20–21
Now the God of peace,
that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great Shepherd of the sheep,
through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
Make you perfect in every good work to do His will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight,
through Jesus Christ;
to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
