(The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit, November 10, 2025)

You must pray continually and without ceasing, and commune with Me in the Spirit.

The flesh is weak. In this busy world, your heart cannot easily be still. The affairs of the world distract you. When you pray, come before Me and lay aside all worldly matters. Do not let your heart be divided by other things. Let it be only you and Me, communing in the Spirit, so that your soul may find rest in Me. Prayer is the source of strength, enabling

your inner being to receive power from Me.

Do not stop praying. You must stay focused, consistent, and unwavering in prayer, following closely after Me in the Spirit, fixing your heart and eyes on Me, trusting and depending on Me.

Be watchful in prayer, for the end of all things is near. The age of salvation is now in its final stage. The days of this world are passing away, moving steadily toward the end appointed by God. Be watchful and prepared—prepared to be holy.

Do not be bound by the evil world or the temptations of the devil. Do not fix your attention on the things of the flesh, nor let your soul fall asleep. A sleeping soul has no strength to resist the devil.

If you live by the flesh, your life is in danger. Therefore, be self-controlled and alert, and pray with vigilance.

Strive in prayer. Examine yourself and face your weaknesses. Confront the sins that still bind you to this world, and confess them before Me. In prayer, fight against your weaknesses and desires; constantly battle against evil and put to death the sinful nature that still dwells in your body. Be strong and courageous. Do not hesitate—set your target clearly. What must you overcome? Your heart, your eyes, your mouth, your hands? Or your fleshly desires?

Do not let sin rule over your actions, or use your body and mind as instruments of unrighteousness that obey the desires of the flesh. Let sin have no dominion over you. Remove it completely and give no place to the devil, lest it breed more things that destroy your spiritual life.

The heart and eyes of man are easily influenced by the visible, material world, keeping you from focusing on Me. Only by often drawing near to Me, closing your eyes, and praying quietly can you receive strength from the Lord. Life is given by God; therefore, live by depending on the Lord—on His strength, wisdom, guidance, protection, mercy, and love—day by day.

Since you have already received the grace of Christ and have become citizens of the kingdom of God, you must fulfill the will of God completely. Keep yourself holy, and accomplish the work of salvation that God planned before the foundation of the world. Then the eternal life you hope for will not be merely a hope in this present world, but a reality to be fulfilled in the age to come—a life you will truly receive.

Scripture

Hebrews

Chapter 1 Verses 1-3

“Long ago, at many times and in many ways,

God spoke to our fathers by the prophets,

but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son,

whom he appointed the heir of all things,

through whom also he created the world.

He is the radiance of the glory of God

and the exact imprint of his nature,

and he upholds the universe by the word of his power.

After making purification for sins,

he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”

Matthew

Chapter 26 Verses 36-41

“Then Jesus went with them to a place called Gethsemane,

and he said to his disciples, ‘Sit here, while I go over there and pray.’

And taking with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee,

he began to be sorrowful and troubled.

Then he said to them,

‘My soul is very sorrowful, even to death; remain here, and watch with me.’

And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying,

‘My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me;

nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.’

And he came to the disciples and found them sleeping.

And he said to Peter,

‘So, could you not watch with me one hour?

Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.

The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.’”

Revelation

Chapter 2 Verses 4-5, 7

“But I have this against you,

that you have abandoned the love you had at first.

Remember therefore from where you have fallen;

repent, and do the works you did at first.

If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place,

unless you repent.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life,

which is in the paradise of God.”

Colossians

Chapter 4 Verse 2

“Continue steadfastly in prayer,

being watchful in it with thanksgiving.”

1 Peter

Chapter 4 Verse 7

“The end of all things is at hand;

therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded

for the sake of your prayers.”
