(Prayer to receive the Lord’s words on August 7, 2025)

Love one another, for love can cover many sins.

When you love others, your heart produces good thoughts, you consider their well-being, give them what is good and beneficial, and you find joy and satisfaction in their happiness.

Hatred and resentment stir up arguments and disputes. Harsh words and hurtful actions can wound each other—not only harming yourself, but also hurting the other person. They may even stumble, and both of your spiritual lives will suffer loss. If you follow this evil and no one is willing to yield, revenge will rise, and you will both be trapped in anger, conflict, and hatred. You will fall into sin, and no one will gain anything. These are things I do not delight in.

Receive mercy and love from Me, and in the same way, treat each other with compassion and love. Be vessels of righteousness that bring benefit to others. A person with the heart of Christ seeks the good of all, is willing to yield, and will not allow themselves to fall into sin because of another person, nor allow sin to spread. Do not rush to uphold justice for yourself, for justice belongs to Me, so that you will not share in evil.

When evil happens and you are attacked, first examine and reflect on yourself, look within, cleanse yourself, and forgive with love, so that sin will no longer grow between you. All strife and disputes come from the evil one, from the devil. Do not allow desires to be stirred up, leading you into sin. Those who are willing to stop evil will receive My mercy. Live at peace with everyone, and be reconciled with one another.

If the other person still holds on to hatred, continue to pray for the one who is weak and for yourself—so that you do not fall into sin, and so they may lay down their burdens, not remain in bitterness and resentment, and turn their hearts back, no longer dwelling in darkness. Let their souls be freed from the gnawing of sin, and let light shine into the heart of the one who is weak.

Love can cover sins, and only love can stop sin. Do not let the evil deeds of others cause you to be resentful or upset. Stop the fire of anger before it burns and leads you into wrongdoing. With gentleness, kindness, and patience, bear with one another and forgive one another. As you forgive others, I also forgive you. Therefore, live in peace with each other, be reconciled, and be united in love.

“A hot-tempered man stirs up strife,

but he who is slow to anger quiets contention.”

Psalm

Chapter 37 Verses 8-9

“Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath!

Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

For the evildoers shall be cut off,

but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.”

Proverbs

Chapter 17 Verse 14

“The beginning of strife is like letting out water,

so quit before the quarrel breaks out.”

Romans

Chapter 12 Verse 19

for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’”

Ephesians

Chapter 4 Verses 30-32

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God,

by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander

be put away from you, along with all malice.

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted,

forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

James

Chapter 3 Verses 13-18

“Who is wise and understanding among you?

By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom.

But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts,

do not boast and be false to the truth.

This is not the wisdom that comes down from above,

but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.

For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist,

there will be disorder and every vile practice.

But the wisdom from above is first pure,

then peaceable, gentle, open to reason,

full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”

Matthew

Chapter 5 Verse 9

“Blessed are the peacemakers,

for they shall be called sons of God.”

Colossians

Chapter 3 Verses 12-15

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved,

compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another,

forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts,

to which indeed you were called in one body.

And be thankful.”
