(2025.4.17 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)

Come close to me, and stay close to me often—this will benefit you.

I will give you peace in this world and everlasting joy in the life to come.

When you draw near to me, you will receive a precious reward beyond measure.

Keep drawing near to me and receive my teachings, and you will gain wisdom.

This will help you avoid wrong paths and the painful correction that follows.

I don’t want you to live in hardship or waste the years you could have spent rejoicing with me, only to remain long in sorrow.

Don’t be like the people of the world, who are restless, anxious, and unsettled,

because they rely on created things that are ever-changing and offer no real foundation.

I am your sure and unchanging refuge. In me, you will find peace, and you will inherit a kingdom that is everlasting and cannot be shaken.

Come close to me, receive my truth, and obey my commandments,

so you can build a strong and healthy spiritual life and protect your soul.

Don’t stray from my words—the path of salvation.

My word will keep you from evil, protect you from the temptations of the enemy, and give life to your soul.

Know me more and understand who I am.

I am a righteous God who rewards the good and punishes evil.

I am a jealous God who hates all wickedness.

If you place me first in your heart, you will develop a reverent fear of me.

Reject what is shameful and deceitful.

Do not follow the ways of the world or worship worthless idols.

Don’t belong to this world—be set apart from it.

Live as pure and blameless children, as righteous people who bring me joy.

Come closer to me, follow what is good, live in the light, and you will have a life full of beauty and glory.

Do not love the world, imitate evil, or walk in darkness,

for this will only corrupt and ruin the beauty of your life.

You are destined to receive an eternal inheritance—imperishable blessings and everlasting glory.

You are the ones called to eternal life.

So keep striving forward, resist the devil’s temptations, and build up your spiritual life in holiness and completeness, pressing toward the kingdom of eternal life.

Before your final breath, make sure you’ve finished the race set before you,

fulfilled all the efforts required of you, and held firmly to the truth you believe.

Then you will receive the great reward of grace I have prepared for you.

Scripture

Psalms

Chapter 68 Verse 20

“Our God is a God of salvation,

and to God, the Lord, belong deliverances from death.”

Hebrews

Chapter 12 Verses 14-17

“Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God;

that no “root of bitterness” springs up and causes trouble, and by it many become defiled;

that no one is sexually immoral or unholy like Esau, who sold his birthright for a single meal.

For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected,

for he found no chance to repent, though he sought it with tears.”

Hebrews

Chapter 12 Verses 22-29

“But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem,

and to innumerable angels in festal gathering,

and to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven,

and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,

and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant,

and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

See that you do not refuse him who is speaking.

For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth,

much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven.

At that time his voice shook the earth,

but now he has promised, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”

This phrase, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of things that are shaken—

that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.

Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken,

and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,

for our God is a consuming fire.”

3 John

Chapter 1 Verse 11

“Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good.

Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.”

2 Timothy

Chapter 4 Verses 5-8

“As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering,

do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

For I am already being poured out as a drink offering,

and the time of my departure has come.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,

which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day,

and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
