(2025.4.15 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)

You don’t know what tomorrow holds—when things will happen, how the world will change,  how long life will last
or how long your life will be. You are completely unaware of all these things.

Strong winds may rise, earthquakes may shake the ground, fire may break out, and floods may come—it all happens in an instant.

But you must clearly understand this: there is only one true God—the Creator of all things. He rules over life and death, blessing and disaster. He is the Lord of all life, the one who sees everything and who judges the end of every person.

Everything you experience and see in this world will change. If you obtain anything through the devil, it will eventually vanish. Since these things cannot last forever, why waste your time on what has no lasting hope?

Whatever happens, I have allowed it. Even Satan is under my authority. All falsehood and evil will ultimately be destroyed. That’s why there’s no point in crying out to worthless false gods. Everything they do only leads people astray. They are false and unreal.

Instead, ask me for mercy—so that you may eat the bread of life, find true satisfaction, not be swayed by worldly desires, and have your life redeemed to receive eternal life.

Everything in this world will change, but my word—the Bible—never changes. The hope of the Kingdom of Heaven is sure. It is the eternal home of those who overcome the world and of those who strive in this life to work out their salvation.

Your life is in my hands. Your soul will return to me.

So do not worry about tomorrow—what I have determined will surely come to pass. Worrying about worldly things only drains your energy and wastes your time on emptiness.

Instead, think about what truly lasts, what is real, and what is worth giving your whole life to gain.

Let go of every burden and distraction that keeps you from walking the path to Heaven—whether it’s worldly concerns, personal desires, or the heavy weight of sin. Cast them aside.

Follow me with undivided devotion. Worship me in spirit and in truth.

Though you cannot take anything material with you when your earthly life ends, the reward you’ve earned through your efforts to enter Heaven will be stored in your eternal home. That reward is what you can take with you.

So what should you strive for in this life?

Whether you experience life or death, blessing or disaster, all depends on how you live today.

May you gain true wisdom and use your time to pursue what is truly valuable. Don’t waste your limited life chasing after a meaningless world.

Pursue the truth. Do not follow the world into crooked paths.

Walk firmly on the road that leads to eternal life.

Those who walk in righteousness will surely see my promises, receive their reward, and be crowned with glory.

Scripture

Jeremiah

Chapter 51 Verses 13-18

“O you who dwell by many waters,

rich in treasures,

your end has come;

the thread of your life is cut.

The LORD of hosts has sworn by himself:

Surely I will fill you with men,

as many as locusts,

and they shall raise the shout of victory over you.

It is he who made the earth by his power,

who established the world by his wisdom,

and by his understanding stretched out the heavens.

When he utters his voice there is a tumult of waters in the heavens,

and he makes the mist rise from the ends of the earth.

He makes lightning for the rain,

and brings forth the wind from his storehouses.

Every man is stupid and without knowledge;

every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols,

for his images are false,

and there is no breath in them.

They are worthless, a work of delusion;

at the time of their punishment they shall perish.”

Deuteronomy

Chapter 30 Verses 11, 14, 16-20

“For this commandment that I command you today

is not too hard for you, neither is it far off.

But the word is very near you.

It is in your mouth and in your heart,

so that you can do it.

If you obey the commandments of the LORD your God

that I command you today,

by loving the LORD your God,

by walking in his ways,

and by keeping his commandments and his statutes and his rules,

then you shall live and multiply,

and the LORD your God will bless you

in the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

But if your heart turns away,

and you will not hear,

but are drawn away to worship other gods and serve them,

I declare to you today,

that you shall surely perish.

You shall not live long in the land

that you are going over the Jordan to enter and possess.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today,

that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse.

Therefore choose life,

that you and your offspring may live,

loving the LORD your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him,

for he is your life and length of days,

that you may dwell in the land

that the LORD swore to your fathers,

to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

John

Chapter 6 Verses 33-35

“For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven

and gives life to the world.”

They said to him,

“Sir, give us this bread always.”

Jesus said to them,

“I am the bread of life;

whoever comes to me shall not hunger,

and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

Romans

Chapter 12 Verses 1-2

I appeal to you therefore, brothers,

by the mercies of God,

to present your bodies as a living sacrifice,

holy and acceptable to God,

which is your spiritual worship.

Do not be conformed to this world,

but be transformed by the renewal of your mind,

that by testing you may discern

what is the will of God,

what is good and acceptable and perfect.
