(2025.4.11 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)
If your eyes are set on this world and you try to cling to it, your flesh will be easily controlled by the devil. Without the truth in your heart, you will be like someone spiritually asleep—unable to wake up, unable to tell right from wrong, and simply following the ways of the world.
This generation is just like the days of Noah. People are busy living for the body—eating, drinking, getting married—thinking that this is the purpose of life, and once this life is over, that’s the end. So they spend all their time and energy on the days they’re alive.
Back then, while people were enjoying their lives, Noah followed My instructions and built the ark. Before the flood came, he had already completed it and was able to enter in time, avoiding destruction. Because he obeyed My word and did as I said, his life was saved.
You must reflect on what happened to people in the past—look at their endings—and also think seriously about your own.
Because human hearts were corrupt and the world was filled with sin, it was destroyed. And what about this generation now? The world you live in today is even more evil than those before. What will the ending be?
This generation is like the days of Lot—people are eating, drinking, trading, and building up worldly things. Most of them are still spiritually asleep. But for those who have already left the world behind—those who know Me and hold the hope of eternal life—let your hearts be set on your heavenly home. Don’t stay attached to the things of this world.
If your heart is double-minded ,constantly looking back at the pleasures of the world, you’re leaving space for the devil to enter. He’ll use stronger temptations and evil desires to pull you in. Your heart will start drifting closer to Satan. If you don’t recognize and reject it immediately, it will only get harder to resist.
Don’t step outside of My covering. Don’t linger in this dangerous world. If you leave Me, you’ll be powerless against Satan and will end up doing evil alongside him. Always think carefully: what kind of ending will that lead to?
Be like Noah and his family—while there’s still time, work hard on what leads to salvation. Don’t waste your days like the rest of the world, living aimlessly. It’s far better to work now for eternal blessings than to enjoy temporary worldly pleasures and end up unprepared for eternity. Those who don’t prepare for what’s eternal will face eternal suffering. May you have a heart of wisdom, one that can see clearly what is truly good for you.
Now is the time to prepare. Building a strong spiritual life takes time—just like Noah building the ark. You must follow My standards step by step, consistently and faithfully, building on the unchanging truth. Only then will your life be strong, unshakable, and complete in this life—so that your soul may truly be saved, and you can patiently wait for My return.
It is far better for you to discipline your heart and follow Me in this life, than to indulge in the material pleasures crafted by the devil, which have captured your hearts.
For those who are willing to let go of the world and follow Me, who work hard to gain eternal life—your time and effort will never be in vain. In the days to come, you will receive everlasting joy.
So while there is still time, build up the work of salvation—so you won’t be left behind on that day when separation comes.
Wake up, people of the world! Don’t remain asleep—lest you perish in the end!
Scripture
Genesis
Chapter 13 Verses 10, 12-13
And Lot lifted up his eyes and saw that the Jordan Valley was well watered everywhere like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, in the direction of Zoar. This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.
Abram settled in the land of Canaan, while Lot settled among the cities of the valley and moved his tent as far as Sodom.
Now the men of Sodom were wicked, great sinners against the Lord.
Luke
Chapter 17 Verses 26-30, 33-35
Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.
They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building,
but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom, fire and sulfur rained from heaven and destroyed them all—
so will it be on the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.
I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left.
There will be two women grinding together. One will be taken and the other left.
Luke
Chapter 16 Verses 19-20, 22-26
“There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who feasted sumptuously every day.
And at his gate was laid a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,
The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried,
and in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.
And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’
But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things; but now he is comforted here, and you are in anguish.
And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able, and none may cross from there to us.’
Philippians
Chapter 3 Verses 12-14, 17-20
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Brothers, join in imitating me, and keep your eyes on those who walk according to the example you have in us.
For many, of whom I have often told you and now tell you even with tears, walk as enemies of the cross of Christ.
Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things.
But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
