Have You Ever Thought About What the Lord Wants From You?

(Prayed and received the Lord’s words on  July 28 , 2025)

You often pray to Me, constantly asking for things—but have you ever stopped to think about what I want from you?

I want you to let go of the burdens of this world and the desires in your heart. Cleanse your heart so I can live in it, so your heart can fully belong to Me. Are you willing?

I want you to cast off your old self, remove what is sinful, learn My character, and do your best to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Are you willing?

I want you to love Me with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Become My disciple, and follow Me to the very end. Are you willing?

I want you to fear Me, honor Me above all, keep My commandments, and live righteously. Don’t be shaped by the world or follow its trends. Set yourself apart and become holy, belonging to Me. Are you willing?

I want you to be honest, walk in the light, become a child of light, and serve Me with the true identity of a follower of Christ. Are you willing?

Are you willing to entrust everything in your life to Me, to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, to surrender to Me, to trust fully in Me, and to walk the path I have prepared for you? Are you willing?

Before you pray to Me, asking Me to meet the needs of your heart—be still. Take a moment to reflect: why are you really seeking Me?

I want your prayers to sound like this:

Pray for a humble heart, one that is ready to receive My teaching.

Pray for spiritual wisdom, so you can understand My will.

Pray for a heart that fears Me, so you’ll walk in My ways and keep My commandments.

Pray for a heart that’s willing to obey—so that no matter your circumstances or trials, you can rely on Me, wait patiently, and carry out My will without grumbling.

Pray for a pure and kind heart, so you may become righteous and bring Me joy.

Pray for a heart that truly loves God and others—not seeking only your own benefit, but the good of many.

Pray for strong faith, so you can believe in My promises and hold firmly to the hope of eternal life.

Pray with determination, to stay on the right path, never turn aside, and keep the faith until your final breath.

Let your prayers be like this:

“Lord, may Your will be done.”

Scripture

Deuteronomy

Chapter 10 Verses 12-18, 20

“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you,

but to fear the Lord your God,

to walk in all His ways,

to love Him,

to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

and to keep the commandments and statutes of the Lord,

which I am commanding you today for your good?

Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens,

the earth with all that is in it.

Yet the Lord set His heart in love on your fathers

and chose their offspring after them,

you above all peoples,

as you are this day.

Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart,

and be no longer stubborn.

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords,

the great, the mighty, and the awesome God,

who is not partial and takes no bribe.

He executes justice for the fatherless and the widow,

and loves the sojourner,

giving him food and clothing.

You shall fear the Lord your God.

You shall serve Him and hold fast to Him,

and by His name you shall swear.”

Mark

Chapter 12 Verses 29-31

Jesus answered,

“The most important is,

‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

And you shall love the Lord your God

with all your heart

and with all your soul

and with all your mind

and with all your strength.’

The second is this:

‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Proverbs

Chapter 22 Verse 4

The reward for humility and fear of the Lord

is riches and honor and life.

Proverbs

Chapter 21 Verse 8

The way of the guilty is crooked,

but the conduct of the pure is upright.

1 Corinthians

Chapter 10 Verse 33

Just as I try to please everyone in everything I do,

not seeking my own advantage,

but that of many,

that they may be saved.

1 John

Chapter 5 Verses 1-4

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ

has been born of God,

and everyone who loves the Father

loves whoever has been born of Him.

By this we know that we love the children of God,

when we love God and obey His commandments.

For this is the love of God,

that we keep His commandments.

And His commandments are not burdensome.

For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world.

And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.

Luke

Chapter 11 Verse 2

And He said to them,

“When you pray, say:

‘Father, hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come.

Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’”

John

Chapter 9 Verse 31

We know that God does not listen to sinners,

but if anyone is a worshiper of God

and does His will,

God listens to him.

Matthew

Chapter 7 Verse 21

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven,

but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.”
