(2025.2.04 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)
Woe to those who love feasting and pleasure!
Woe to those who care about this life and their pleasures!
Such people love the pleasures of the world, take the satisfaction of their belly as their joy, take vain fame and wealth as their pride, and enjoy the lust of the eyes as their enjoyment;
But you must know that the happiness of the world is only temporary. It is created by the devil and contains lust and desire. You must be careful. If you get it, you may want more. The devil knows the greed and desire in your heart and will deceive and tempt you. He sets a trap for you, draws you in, and makes your heart unsatisfied, and then easily catches you, making it difficult for you to break free, or makes you fall into the pleasure of sin, unable to extricate yourself. This is what the king of the world wants to give you. The joy of the heart is detrimental, cannot last long, brings sorrow, and leads to destruction;
The devil seizes people’s weaknesses, causing them to feel more and more empty, and to seek things to fill the emptiness.
So, when we look at the world, it can create fame, wealth and money, and give us the illusion of honor; it makes people envy those who are rich and honorable, and use vanity as their own decoration; when people look at others, only able to see the outward appearance, but unable to see the true inner reality.
the devil has blinded people’s eyes, so that there is no truth in their hearts. They value the beauty of appearance and cover up the ugliness inside.
The devil constantly builds a vain world to deceive people, so that they imitate each other, thinking it is right and without shame; the world is like a filthy dye vat, filled with sin and confusion, but people enjoy it and cannot extricate themselves. , giving the whole person and the whole heart to this world, constantly pursuing the world, trying to fill their own desires, but not knowing that they are trading with the devil, selling themselves to the devil, becoming its slave, and being controlled by it, Sin is addictive and hard to break away from;
Woe to those who are caught in this great cesspool of sin! I hate sin, and my anger is uttered, and no one can escape it. I will punish the sinners, because they value the pleasures of the world but not my teachings. They choose to associate with sin rather than to be separated and close to Me;
I will show mercy to anyone who turns back to me because of misfortune. Anyone who confesses and repents will still have a chance to return to me. On the contrary, those who do not turn back will choose to perish with sin and will live in darkness and pain forever. In the future, they will face eternal punishment;
You should look at the situation in the world and think about why there is no peace. You should seek My will so that you can return to the right path. This right path is the path I have prepared for you to lead to eternal life, not the path created by the devil to lead people to destruction. road;
People live to prepare for entering the kingdom of eternal life. You should strive to cleanse yourself of your filth and separate yourself from the world’s big dye vat. Your heart should yearn for the hope of heaven, not for the fame, wealth and money of the world. For the love of the world has no place in Me. Do not be enslaved by selfish desires, for sin leads to destruction.Be careful.
Now, I give you the grace of salvation. You must work hard to practice the word and accomplish the work of salvation.
May you gain a heart of wisdom and understand that the purpose of your life is to prepare for entering the kingdom of eternal life; please Me and walk in the path of righteousness so that after your life on earth ends, you can wait for Me to come again and wear the holy robes. You who are clothed in white, wear a crown of glory, so that you may inherit the eternal inheritance of the kingdom of heaven.
Scripture
Isaiah
Chapter 5 Verses 11-14
“Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may run after strong drink,
who tarry late into the evening as wine inflames them!
They have lyre and harp, tambourine and flute and wine at their feasts,
but they do not regard the deeds of the Lord, or see the work of His hands.
Therefore My people go into exile for lack of knowledge;
their honored men go hungry, and their multitude is parched with thirst.
Therefore Sheol has enlarged its appetite and opened its mouth beyond measure,
and the nobility of Jerusalem and her multitude will go down,
her revelers and he who exults in her.”
1 John
Chapter 2 Verses 15-17
“Do not love the world or the things in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—
is not from the Father but is from the world.
And the world is passing away along with its desires,
but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”
1 Thessalonians
Chapter 4 Verses 7-8
“For God has not called us for impurity, but in holiness.
Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God,
who gives His Holy Spirit to you.”
Psalm
Chapter 90 Verses 1-17
“Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting You are God.
You return man to dust and say, ‘Return, O children of man!’
For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past,
or as a watch in the night.
You sweep them away as with a flood; they are like a dream,
like grass that is renewed in the morning:
in the morning it flourishes and is renewed;
in the evening it fades and withers.
For we are brought to an end by Your anger;
by Your wrath we are dismayed.
You have set our iniquities before You,
our secret sins in the light of Your presence.
For all our days pass away under Your wrath;
we bring our years to an end like a sigh.
The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty;
yet their span is but toil and trouble;
they are soon gone, and we fly away.
Who considers the power of Your anger,
and Your wrath according to the fear of You?
So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.
Return, O Lord! How long?
Have pity on Your servants!
Satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love,
that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
Make us glad for as many days as You have afflicted us,
and for as many years as we have seen evil.
Let Your work be shown to Your servants,
and Your glorious power to their children.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands!”
