(2024.10.24 Prayer: Receiving the Lord’s Words)

You must engrave my teachings upon the tablet of your heart, deeply etching them in, so they become part of your being. Regardless of the circumstances, regardless of the time, no matter what you encounter—whether it’s sudden changes in life or trials you face—my teachings never leave you. When you are discouraged, they will renew your strength. When you are tempted, they will remind you of the right path. When you are still a child, they will help you grow strong, so you are not deceived.

You should pray for my Spirit to pour over you, transforming you from a person of the flesh into a person of the Spirit, truly born from me. I will be your Father, and you will be my child. In the last days, in the days of my soon return, there will be even greater battles—spiritual battles. Those who live by the flesh cannot withstand them. Strive to become spiritual, resisting the powerful attacks of the devil’s armies, so you may survive and gain eternal life.

Pray for my Spirit to pour out on you abundantly, to help you overcome lust and the flesh that is enslaved by sin. Draw strength from me to resist evil. Through my teachings (truth), understand my standards and discern good from evil. From the courage I give you, confront this evil generation. My Spirit works within you, guiding you to go here or there, to do this or that. Follow the truth, and you will walk on the right path. Walk forward without doubt, steadfastly, all the way to the kingdom of eternal life.

Your whole life must be lived in cooperation with me, to complete the work of your salvation. This is according to my plan. You must exert your utmost effort, persist to the end, and keep yourself in me, resisting the temptations of the devil, the ruler of this world, and becoming a conqueror.

Everything that happens is under my permission; everything that is accomplished is by my power, for the glory of my name. May you be one who longs for your heavenly home and is willing to return to me. May the number of those who behold the glorious kingdom of heaven increase daily. May your name be written in my book of life, never to be erased. May those who overcome, my people, sing for joy in my kingdom, forever.

Scripture

1 John chapter 2, verses 3 to 6

“And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says ‘I know him’ but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, but whoever keeps his word, in him truly the love of God is perfected. By this we may know that we are in him: whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked.”

Romans chapter 8, verses 7 to 11, 13 to 14

“For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you. … For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.”

Ezekiel chapter 1, verses 4 to 7, 9 to 12, 15, 17 to 21

“As I looked, behold, a stormy wind came out of the north, and a great cloud, with brightness around it, and fire flashing forth continually, and in the midst of the fire, as it were gleaming metal. And from the midst of it came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had a human likeness, but each had four faces, and each of them had four wings. Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like the sole of a calf’s foot. And they sparkled like burnished bronze. … Their wings touched one another. Each one of them went straight forward, without turning as they went. As for the likeness of their faces, each had a human face. The four had the face of a lion on the right side, the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and the four had the face of an eagle. Such were their faces. And their wings were spread out above; each creature had two wings, each of which touched the wing of another, while two covered their bodies. And each went straight forward. Wherever the spirit would go, they went, without turning as they went. … Now as I looked at the living creatures, I saw a wheel on the earth beside the living creatures, one for each of the four of them. … When they went, they went in any of their four directions without turning as they went. And their rims were tall and awesome, and the rims of all four were full of eyes all around. And when the living creatures went, the wheels went beside them; and when the living creatures rose from the earth, the wheels rose. Wherever the spirit wanted to go, they went, and the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels. When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those rose from the earth, the wheels rose along with them, for the spirit of the living creatures was in the wheels.”

Titus chapter 3, verses 6 to 7

“whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

Micah chapter 3, verse 8

“But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, …”

Revelation chapter 12, verses 7 to 9, 17

“Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world—he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. … Then the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war on the rest of her offspring, on those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.”

Revelation chapter 13, verses 2 to 3, 7 to 10

“And the beast that I saw was like a leopard; its feet were like a bear’s, and its mouth was like a lion’s mouth. And to it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority. One of its heads seemed to have a mortal wound, but its mortal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled as they followed the beast. … Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain. If anyone has an ear, let him hear: If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints.”

Revelation chapter 20, verses 1 to 10

“Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years. And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea. And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them, and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

Revelation chapter 21, verses 4 to 7

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.’ And he who was seated on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ Also he said, ‘Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.’ And he said to me, ‘It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.’”
