The world is changing very quickly and is moving toward decline.

Human hearts are becoming more corrupt, and all kinds of sins are increasing. Conflicts and struggles continue to appear everywhere.

People’s hearts are filled with the desires of the flesh—greed for material things, the pursuit of pleasure, and pride that exalts the self.

Injustice is increasing, and because of this, God’s wrath is continually being stored up.

Those who believe in the Lord can see spiritual realities through the changes happening in the world.

At the same time, the deception and activity of the devil in the spiritual realm are causing the corruption of this fallen generation to grow deeper and deeper.

Therefore you must stay alert.

Being alert means preparing for where your soul—the inner person—will go in the future.

Do not live in emptiness, spending your limited time working only for things that cannot last forever.

The end of all things is drawing near.

The things that will happen in the future are already moving toward this conclusion.

Everything that belongs to the world—people, events, and possessions—has an end and will eventually pass away.

Only what belongs to heaven can remain forever.

Only those who belong to the Lord and live in Him can receive the eternal life that God has promised.

You should always examine your heart and ask whether you truly care about your final outcome.

Our God is a righteous God.

He is the One who judges both the living and the dead, and no one can escape His judgment.

When that judgment comes, the question is whether you will be able to stand before God, and whether you will be declared righteous or unrighteous.

The judgment of the last days begins with the house of God.

This also means that all people on the earth will face God’s judgment.

Every person must give an account before God and take responsibility for what they have done in this life.

The gospel has been preached to you.

Have you lived in a way that strives to receive the grace God gives and the eternal blessings of the kingdom of heaven, walking on the path of holiness?

Or have you spent your days on earth focusing only on worldly things so that your life becomes empty?

If someone once heard the gospel, repented, and was baptized, but later does not pursue the truth, or after many years turns back to the world and does not leave sin behind, that person will still face the righteous judgment of God in the end.

Those who believe in the Lord must be careful and self-controlled.

Do not become intoxicated by the prosperity and emptiness of the world.

Do not allow greed to grow in your heart, or you will be bound by the world.

Since you confess the name of the Lord with your mouth, your heart must no longer remain attached to the world.

Do not continue living the same kind of life you lived before you believed.

God’s children should live each day with contentment and reverence for the Lord.

In daily life, they should do what is pleasing to God.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and do not live according to the standards of the world.

Do not pursue wealth or earthly achievements.

Do not chase after human reputation and glory.

Do not allow your desires, emotions, or the world to control you.

Do not indulge yourself excessively or live without restraint, but practice self-control in all things.

Whatever you say and whatever you do should follow God’s standards.

Strive to pursue truth, righteousness, holiness, and a heart that loves God and loves others.

Be led by the Lord and live each day in Him.

During the limited time of your life, live in reverence before God, place your heart in His hands, and walk together with the Lord.

Scripture

Isaiah 59:1–4, 7–8

Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save;

neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

But your iniquities have separated between you and your God,

and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity;

your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.

None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth:

they trust in vanity, and speak lies;

they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

Their feet run to evil,

and they make haste to shed innocent blood:

their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity;

wasting and destruction are in their paths.

The way of peace they know not;

and there is no judgment in their goings:

they have made them crooked paths:

whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

Psalm 90:10–12

The days of our years are threescore years and ten;

and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years,

yet is their strength labour and sorrow;

for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Who knoweth the power of thine anger?

even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

So teach us to number our days,

that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Ecclesiastes 12:13–14

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:

Fear God, and keep his commandments:

for this is the whole duty of man.

For God shall bring every work into judgment,

with every secret thing,

whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

1 Peter 4:7, 17–18

But the end of all things is at hand:

be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God:

and if it first begin at us,

what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

And if the righteous scarcely be saved,

where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
