Those who long for the Kingdom of Heaven — you are not meant to only desire heavenly grace; mere longing is not enough. Only by adding earnest pursuit can you truly receive what your heart desires. It is like those who stand on a racetrack to compete — everyone wants to win. Once the race begins, each person runs forward with all their strength, with only one goal: to win the prize at the end. You should do the same.

The journey of faith in life is like a spiritual race. You cannot see it with your eyes, yet it is very real. Since you have the hope of heaven, you must strive to make your inner desire come true. Set your heart, make a firm decision, and fix the goal of your life — to gain eternal life.

On this journey of faith, when you look at the events of life with your physical eyes, you must observe carefully. In all things, great or small, stay focused and alert against anything that may affect your spiritual life. The devil loves to use the matters of the world to distract people’s devotion to God, to consume their strength and time, to make them lose the desire to draw near to God. He causes people’s minds to dwell on earthly things, wasting life on worldly concerns while neglecting their relationship with God.

If you do not know to make good use of the limited time God has given you on earth to prepare for entering His eternal kingdom, then where will you end up if you are not ready and cannot enter heaven?

Therefore, any obstacle in your faith is something that cuts off your motivation to move forward toward heaven. It hinders your closeness to God and slows your steps on the path to His kingdom. You must resist all the works of the devil with determination. Focus your heart on the matter of salvation. With faith and truth, keep examining yourself, letting the light shine into your heart so you can see your weakness. Then you will find the source of your problems, repent, and face them. Once the problem is resolved, you can quickly walk out of the dark clouds and continue pressing forward on the road to heaven.

Remember the experiences you have gone through — both your failures and your victories. Do not repeat anything that weakens your soul or damages your spiritual life. Keep in mind every moment you have overcome through the Lord’s help — how you rose again from weakness and stood strong. Do not walk the path of retreat; there is only one way — to keep moving forward.

Forget what is behind — your past works and achievements — so that you will not become proud or complacent. Those who once fell into the devil’s deception and sinned must now turn away from guilt and regret. Forget your weaknesses, forget your failures, and do not stay trapped in sorrow or darkness. I am willing to accept those who recognize their sins and truly repent. Let your mind be renewed and your life transformed. Do not stay where you are; take quicker steps forward, so you may enter the land of abundance sooner.

Your heart must have only one goal — to obtain the heavenly reward. This is the very purpose for which I have called you. For this goal, move forward bravely, never taking the crooked path, and do not be hindered by this world. Therefore, hold tightly to the Lord’s teachings. Let the truth become the lamp that lights your way, so every step you take is in the right direction and on the straight path. Then your journey of faith will not be in vain, and the time you spend in this world will not be wasted.

Scripture

Psalms

Chapter 43 Verses 3–5

“Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me;

let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling!

Then I will go to the altar of God,

to God my exceeding joy,

and I will praise You with the lyre,

O God, my God.

Why are you cast down, O my soul,

and why are you in turmoil within me?

Hope in God; for I shall again praise Him,

my salvation and my God.”

Philippians

Chapter 3 Verses 10–14

“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection,

and may share His sufferings,

becoming like Him in His death,

that by any means possible I may attain the resurrection from the dead.

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect,

but I press on to make it my own,

because Christ Jesus has made me His own.

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own.

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind

and straining forward to what lies ahead,

I press on toward the goal

for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

2 Timothy

Chapter 4 Verses 7–8

“I have fought the good fight,

I have finished the race,

I have kept the faith.

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness,

which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day,

and not only to me but also to all

who have loved His appearing.”
