Think about what you are praying for

Seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all your needs will be given to you. This is true;

Think first about what you are asking of me, and there is no need to say any more useless words;

You always say to me: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name

When you call me Father with your mouth, do you know that I am holy and glorious? Have you pursued holiness with all your strength, been sanctified, and lived out my likeness? Does your relationship with Me reflect this title appropriately?

You say to me: Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

My kingdom is not of this world. You are really willing to leave behind the vanities and benefits of this world. You are willing to make my kingdom come true in your heart. If so, those who follow me should put off the entanglements of this world and repent, so that they will not always be in this world. trapped in sin;

You said to me: Give us today our daily bread

You really don’t care about indulging in abundant feasts or living a life of luxury.

You just want to meet your daily needs, be satisfied and give thanks?

I want you to believe what you have not seen and what I say, because I am in charge of tomorrow. I want you to trust me and trust me with confidence. I want this “faith” to be deeply rooted in your heart. I hope that you will pursue the richness of spiritual life. If you only pursue the flesh and the satisfaction of material desires, you will easily become intoxicated. If you do this for a long time, it will easily lead to death. You should pay attention to it.

You say to me: Forgive me our debts as we have forgiven our debtors

Strive to be perfect, not to be partakers of sin, but to be separated from it; love and encourage one another with love and compassion;do not stumble over others, nor be stumbled by others; taking no account of another’s wrongdoing, not being angry or resentful. ;

You said to me: Lead us not into temptation; deliver us from evil

You have to ask yourself, does your heart belong to me or does it belong to this world?

Do you strive to understand the truth and practice righteousness?

If you clothe yourself with truth, integrity, and righteousness, even if the evil one roams everywhere, he will not enter your heart, devour you, and make you fall into sin; my words must stand firm in your heart, and you will be able to discern what is good. Evil, leaving the evil path;

Every time you pray to Me, think about what you are asking of Me. Do you really understand it? Or are you ignorant and don’t know what you are asking for? Or are you asking for it in vain?

I would rather you not ask according to your own greed, and not ask for your own selfish desires or earthly benefits;

You should pray for the salvation of your soul and for entry into the eternal kingdom;

Because you call me Father, my kingdom is not of this world; therefore, you are not of the world either;

If what you value is the beauty of heaven, you should first seek the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God;

May you love to walk in the path I show you and walk in the path of righteousness;

You should think, do you have such confidence?

I am the God who was, who is, and who will be forever; I am who I am, and I am what I am;

I am the God who searches people’s hearts, is omniscient, and is omnipotent;

You should know and be convinced that what you believe in is the Creator, Almighty God;

There is no limit to time or space here, it is eternal;

Don’t be trapped by your flesh and this world; your days on earth are only temporary and will eventually end;

Find freedom in me;

I want you to come to me and gain eternal life, and enjoy the days of joy with me in eternity.

Bible Study

**Psalm Chapter 33, Verse 12**

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!

**Psalm Chapter 33, Verses 18-19**

Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love,

that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

**Psalm Chapter 145, Verses 17-20**

The LORD is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.

The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.

The LORD preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.

**Psalm Chapter 37, Verses 16-18**

Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, but the LORD upholds the righteous.

The LORD knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever.

**Psalm Chapter 37, Verse 23**

The steps of a man are established by the LORD, when he delights in his way.

**Psalm Chapter 37, Verses 1-4**

Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!

For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.

Trust in the LORD, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.

Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

**Psalm Chapter 37, Verses 5-9**

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.

He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.

Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil.

For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the LORD shall inherit the land.

**Psalm Chapter 73, Verses 24-28**

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.

Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

For behold, those who are far from you shall perish; you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you.

But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.

 Psalm 49:1, 6, 11-13, 15-17, 19-20

**Psalm Chapter 49, Verse 1**

Hear this, all peoples! Give ear, all inhabitants of the world,

**Psalm Chapter 49, Verse 6**

those who trust in their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches?

**Psalm Chapter 49, Verses 11-13**

Their graves are their homes forever, their dwelling places to all generations, though they called lands by their own names.

Man in his pomp will not remain; he is like the beasts that perish.

This is the path of those who have foolish confidence; yet after them people approve of their boasts. Selah

**Psalm Chapter 49, Verses 15-17**

But God will ransom my soul from the power of Sheol, for he will receive me. Selah

Be not afraid when a man becomes rich, when the glory of his house increases.

For when he dies he will carry nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.

**Psalm Chapter 49, Verses 19-20**

his soul will go to the generation of his fathers, who will never again see light.

Man in his pomp yet without understanding is like the beasts that perish.

**Matthew Chapter 6, Verses 7-13**

And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words.

Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.”
