(2026.04.13. The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
Those who strive in this life to run faithfully on the path toward the kingdom of heaven will receive a great reward in the future. They are the ones who overcame the devil’s temptations while living on earth and turned away from evil. They did not worship idols, nor did they have fellowship with the devil. They were not made drunk by the immoral wine of Babylon the great prostitute, nor did they follow her corruption, luxury, and worldly values. They did not indulge in the pleasures of sin. Their faith was tested and proven to be genuine. Through trials, suffering, and refinement, they were purified, becoming holy, without blemish, and undefiled. They held firmly to the truth and remained steadfast in their faith even in times of hardship. Therefore, one day they will stand on the sea of glass, worshiping and praising the glorious God. They will sing a new song before God’s throne—the song of victory—a song of grace and glory given by God. Only those who are holy and victorious in this way can sing it; no one else can.
May all people sing the song of Moses, remembering how in the Old Testament God used His mighty hand to deliver His people from Pharaoh in Egypt. May they also sing the song of the Lamb, remembering how God Himself became flesh to save sinners, giving people the redemption found in Jesus Christ, so that they may stand on the sea of glass and sing the song of victory.
God’s people once ate manna from heaven in the wilderness and drank water flowing from the rock. Today, you should live in the same way, allowing God to be with you and lead you every day. Read the Bible often, receive the teaching of truth, be filled with the Holy Spirit, and follow the Spirit’s leading. For your soul—the inner person within you that will last forever—must receive strength from the Lord and become spiritually strong, so that you may be built up into holiness and maturity.
Blessed are those who hear the gospel and willingly come before the Lord Jesus. Blessed also are those who are chosen and become children of God. But if a person wants this blessing to remain forever, they must faithfully follow the Lord until the very end. They must not be shaken by the world, deceived by the devil, but must resist through the truth. For many are called, but few are chosen. Some hear the gospel but reject it. Some accept it but do not live it out. Some begin by following the Lord, but because they cannot resist the temptations of the world, they turn away halfway. Only those who truly love the Lord, are willing to obey God’s commandments, walk on the path of righteousness, and endure to the end are pleasing to God. People should pursue the things above, because true victory is not found on earth, nor in the achievements and wealth of this present life, but in receiving eternal life and entering God’s glorious kingdom. God is righteous and faithful. His judgment is completely just, and His faithfulness is perfect. Whatever He has purposed to accomplish will surely come to pass.
May every person serve God with a reverent heart, continually giving thanks, praise, and worship to Him in spirit and in truth. For before the foundation of the world, God had already prepared salvation, so that through faith people may receive life, and those who hold firmly to the truth until the end may receive the crown of life. May all glory be given to the heavenly Father, from now and forever.
Scripture
Exodus
Chapter 15 Verses 1-2
“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD,
and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD,
for he hath triumphed gloriously:
the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.
The LORD is my strength and song,
and he is become my salvation:
he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation;
my father’s God, and I will exalt him.”
Psalm
Chapter 98 Verses 1-5
“O sing unto the LORD a new song;
for he hath done marvellous things:
his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
The LORD hath made known his salvation:
his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel:
all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth:
make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
Sing unto the LORD with the harp;
with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.”
Revelation
Chapter 2 Verse 10
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried;
and ye shall have tribulation ten days:
be thou faithful unto death,
and I will give thee a crown of life.”
Revelation
Chapter 15 Verses 2-3
“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire:
and them that had gotten the victory over the beast,
and over his image,
and over his mark,
and over the number of his name,
stand on the sea of glass,
having the harps of God.
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying,
Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty;
just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.”
