(April 24, 2026 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
Before Adam and Eve sinned, God placed them in the Garden of Eden. He caused all kinds of trees to grow from the ground, pleasing to the eye and bearing fruit that was good for food. People were free to eat from them. This shows God’s love for mankind. He created people to live in freedom, enjoy His blessings, and receive the abundant grace that comes from Him. What God prepared for humanity was originally good and beautiful. When the Lord is with a person, that person is blessed, because every good thing comes from Him. Apart from Him, no one can receive true blessings.
God nourished the garden. A river flowed out of Eden and divided into four branches. He is the source of life, and the living water that flows from Him never runs dry. This living water nourishes the soul, gives life, and brings eternal life. This living water is meant for all people on the earth. He is the glorious God, and His grace is exceedingly precious.
Whoever receives the living water that comes from God will live forever. This living water feeds people just as God’s word does, giving them life. People should obey the truth, follow His word, and live according to His commandments. God’s word is like refined gold, more precious than pure gold. Through Him, our souls are saved, our lives are renewed, and we become beautiful in His sight. He has promised eternal life to mankind. This grace is not limited to one nation or one people, but is given to all people on the earth. Everyone who is willing to trust in Him can receive eternal life. The river flowing from Eden represents the living water that comes from God. He continually supplies life to mankind without ceasing. He desires everyone to be saved and to receive abundant life, which is eternal life. The kingdom of God continues to expand, and the number of those being saved continues to increase until the appointed time set by God is fulfilled and the day of the Lord comes.
In the past, God caused a river to flow from Eden to water the garden He created, filling it with provision and abundance so that all living things could grow. Today, the river of the water of life flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb, and God still freely gives this living water to people. Through Jesus Christ, those who were once dead in sin are made alive again. God’s love for mankind has never changed. The words He recorded in the Bible will never fail but will surely come to pass. This corrupted world will pass away, sinners will face judgment, and the new heaven and new earth will come. Everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus and obeys God’s commandments will enjoy the blessings of heaven forever.
People should worship the Creator. All things come from Him and continue to exist because of Him. Without God, people have no spiritual life. We should drink the living water that flows from the Rock, which comes from Christ. It gives life, refreshes the soul, and brings back to life those whose lives have dried up because of sin. Turn back to Him, walk in His will, and hold firmly to His word until the day of the Lord comes. Whoever receives the grace God gives will be with the Lord forever and enjoy eternal blessings that nothing in this world can compare with.
Scripture
Genesis
Chapter 2 Verses 8-14
And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.
The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
Psalms
Chapter 19 Verses 7-10
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
1 Timothy
Chapter 2 Verses 4-6
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
Revelation
Chapter 22 Verses 1-3, 5
And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
