(Sep. 3, 2025 – The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
In the last days, those who belong to the kingdom of heaven must be devoted to serving God, for the day of My return is near. The way of life in this world will pass away, and in the kingdom of heaven there will be no marriage. It is better for you now to prepare for what is to come, using the remaining time to strive for the inheritance of eternal life in My kingdom. Love Me wholeheartedly, keep yourselves holy, and offer your body and soul to Me.
For those who are unmarried or widowed, if you have received the gift, it is better to remain as you are, undistracted, caring only about the Lord’s work. With an undivided heart and time, devote yourselves to serving Me, to pleasing Me, and to bearing many children for Me through the gospel and the truth.
Those who are married become divided, giving their time to their husband or wife and being concerned about the matters of this world. But if you cannot control yourselves, if passion burns within you, and to avoid falling into immorality, or if you are lonely and weak, then it is better to marry. The children you bear must also be nourished with the gospel and the truth, so that they may become heirs of the kingdom of heaven in the future.
In all things, act properly. What matters most is to spend your time building up your spiritual life, bearing much fruit of the Holy Spirit, so that your spirit may grow and reach the full stature of Christ. Entrust your heart to Me, long to pursue My word, pursue the path of righteousness, and with your life bear witness for Me, using a glorious life to influence many others.
Draw near to God, pursue the truth, read the Scriptures, clearly understand the teachings of the Bible, and in the gospel truth bear many children of the heavenly kingdom for Me.
Scripture
1 Corinthians
Chapter 7 Verses 26-27, 29-35
“I think that in view of the present distress it is good for a person to remain as he is.
Are you bound to a wife? Do not seek to be free.
Are you free from a wife? Do not seek a wife.
This is what I mean, brothers: the appointed time has grown very short.
From now on, let those who have wives live as though they had none,
and those who mourn as though they were not mourning,
and those who rejoice as though they were not rejoicing,
and those who buy as though they had no goods,
and those who deal with the world as though they had no dealings with it.
For the present form of this world is passing away.
I want you to be free from anxieties.
The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.
But the married man is anxious about worldly things, how to please his wife,
and his interests are divided.
And the unmarried or betrothed woman is anxious about the things of the Lord,
how to be holy in body and spirit.
But the married woman is anxious about worldly things, how to please her husband.
I say this for your own benefit, not to lay any restraint upon you,
but to promote good order and to secure your undivided devotion to the Lord.”
Matthew
Chapter 22 Verse 30
“For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage,
but are like angels in heaven.”
Luke
Chapter 4 Verse 8
“And Jesus answered him, ‘It is written,
“‘You shall worship the Lord your God,
and him only shall you serve.’”’”
Isaiah
Chapter 54 Verse 5
“For your Maker is your husband,
the Lord of hosts is his name;
and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,
the God of the whole earth he is called.”
Isaiah
Chapter 54 Verses 1-2
“Sing, O barren one, who did not bear;
break forth into singing and cry aloud,
you who have not been in labor!
For the children of the desolate one will be more
than the children of her who is married,” says the Lord.
“Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
and strengthen your stakes.”
