(2026.02.24. The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

The days of people on earth are full of labor, sorrow, and trouble. From the moment a person is born into this world, they must face the suffering and burdens that came upon all people because Adam, the first ancestor, sinned and brought sin into the world. People live under the emptiness of a life that cannot last forever. They worry about daily living, suffer from physical sickness and decline brought on by sin, and face fear as death draws near. In the middle of all these hardships, people cannot solve the problem of life by themselves. Yet out of His mercy, God prepared a way for the world to deal with sin.

The Lord Jesus was crucified in the place of sinners and bore the punishment that people deserved because of sin, so that all who trust in Him may be freed from their sins and receive forgiveness and salvation. As long as a person is willing to accept the salvation God has prepared, confess the name of the Lord, be cleansed by the Lord’s precious blood, and walk on the path of righteousness under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, their life can be renewed, they can hold firmly to the truth, and continue on until the end of their journey in this life.

Such great grace should be received early. In this life, walk with the Lord, experience His mercy and lovingkindness, be kept and cared for by Him, and receive a life of peace and joy in the Lord. In the life to come, enter the glorious kingdom God has prepared for eternity, and receive an imperishable hope and everlasting rest.

Life is no longer joined to sin, no longer used to living in darkness, and no longer in fellowship with the evil one. Instead, a person becomes one who belongs to the Lord, is joined to the Lord, and walks in the light. In the Lord, a person experiences a renewed life and the joy and peace that come from God. This beauty is not only seen in this life, but also continues into eternity. Therefore, a person no longer follows the lusts and desires of the world, and no longer makes money and the pleasures of this life the goal of life, but chooses to walk on the path the Lord leads and live each day in His presence.

Only by taking refuge in the one true God in heaven can a person turn back from being hostile to God and separated from Him because of sin, and be reconciled to God, restoring the spiritual relationship of Father and child. A person is no longer under the power of darkness, and life is no longer ruled by sin and death, but instead receives the imperishable spiritual life that comes from God. Because truth gives guidance, the heart has the right direction, and the Lord also keeps that person from being devoured by the evil one or having their spiritual life destroyed. When the heart has a spiritual home and an eternal hope, what it seeks is no longer the things of this earth. In all things, it lives with thankfulness and contentment, no longer being pulled along by the values of the world.

When the Lord leads the path of life, a person’s heart can be satisfied in Him and receive heavenly abundance. At the beginning of life, and at the beginning of each day, a person can be filled with God’s rich lovingkindness. Because the Lord is with them, their heart has strength to face every trial and every circumstance.

May you personally experience fellowship with God and build a real and close relationship with Him in the Lord. May you be filled early with God’s abundant lovingkindness, enjoy the spiritual life being renewed through the Lord Jesus, and taste the sweetness and beauty of life. For our God is the eternal and unchanging God who keeps His covenant and shows lovingkindness. His love is vast and without limit, forever.

Scripture

Psalms

Chapter 90 Verses 14-17

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Isaiah

Chapter 55 Verses 1-3, 6

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat;

yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live;

and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.

John

Chapter 6 Verses 35-37

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;

and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.

All that the Father giveth me shall come to me;

and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
