(2026.02.09. The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

While there is still time and still an opportunity, people should seek to understand God’s will, make the most of their time with all their heart and strength, do the work they ought to do, and carry out what God has entrusted to them; if a person does not make good use of these days in this life, then after their earthly life comes to an end, they will no longer be able to fulfill the responsibilities and calling they should have carried out in this life; the days of a person’s life are limited, and the people and things they encounter all have a time appointed by God, and every place is also within the boundaries God has set; when the people around us leave, or when we ourselves leave, the same opportunity will no longer remain;

If a person realizes that life is limited, they will treasure each day God has given them and live according to the Lord’s will; everything that happens to a person has a beginning and also an end, and all authority is in God’s hands; there is a time appointed for everything, and it is all set by God;

When God gives His call to people and stretches out salvation to sinners, while the door of grace is still not shut, people should seize the opportunity; because human life is short and will one day come to an end, so that they may not let life pass away in an instant and be too late to repent and be saved;

Believers who are still living in sin must also stay alert; God is a righteous God, and He will not treat the guilty as innocent, nor will He erase the responsibility of sin just because a person thinks they have done work for the Lord; outward actions cannot cleanse a person’s sin; only by admitting one’s transgressions, turning away from evil, putting to death sinful deeds, no longer falling into the same mistakes again, being renewed in the Lord, and becoming a new creation, can a person truly be changed; if a person still loves the world and does unrighteous things, then no matter how much work they do, God will not accept it; a person should first make use of the time to repent and face the fact that sin causes people to drift away from God and leads life toward ruin, so that they do not remain in sin for too long, become hard-hearted, and end up being given over by God to their own indulgence, with darkened thoughts, no longer sensitive to sin, and a numb conscience; thinking they have eternal life, only to see on the day of judgment that they had been running in vain during their life on earth;

People should repent while they can still find the Lord, follow the Lord while there is still opportunity, obey God’s will, serve God, and finish what the Lord has entrusted to them; because the time God gives people is limited, if they treat God’s word lightly and still do not stay watchful and prepared, then when night comes and their earthly life ends, there will be no more opportunity;

So while there is still light shining and still opportunity, people should turn back to God, fear God in the days they are alive, do the things that please God, walk on the path of uprightness and righteousness, and not waste their time; they should follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, work hard to bear fruit, bear the fruit of life, and live out the kind of life God wants people to show on earth; so that when the days of this life come to an end and the body returns to dust, the soul may be kept safe, waiting for the Lord to come again and enter the eternal rest God has prepared.
