(2025.12.09 The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)
My chosen people, listen;
All who call upon My name — those who claim to be believers, Christians, people who belong to the Lord, those who follow the teachings of the Lord Jesus — must turn away from the path of unrighteousness;
Do not allow yourselves to remain in sin, calling Me “Lord” only with your lips, having only an outward appearance of piety while the inside is still full of deceit, still doing things that go against uprightness and righteousness, still enjoying the pleasure of sin, treating sin as a lifestyle, a habit, and enjoyment, following the desires of the flesh, and living willfully in sin;
Do not choose the temporary pleasures of this sinful world;
Do not despise God’s discipline or refuse to turn back, continuing to corrupt yourselves on the path of evil;
Such people will not inherit the eternal kingdom of God;
Since you call Me Lord, you ought to know that the authority belongs to God, and you no longer belong to yourselves;
God is holy, and you must also become holy;
You must obey all the commandments God has commanded, remove all uncleanness;
This is so that you may receive a reward that does not perish and lasts forever, and be led into the kingdom of eternal life;
Therefore, not everyone who calls Me “Lord, Lord” will enter the kingdom of heaven; only those who do the will of the Father will enter the kingdom of heaven;
Every chosen one who calls Me Lord must begin a transformation of life, showing the likeness of new birth, leaving behind the old deeds that God does not delight in and that oppose Him;
What kind of life should those who belong to the Lord live?
You must leave behind your old corrupt lifestyle, old habits, and old speech and behavior;
You must resist the temptations of the devil and not compromise with sin;
A heart and conduct that are not holy, not obedient to the Lord’s commandments, a faith that is weak and wavering, loving the world, falling into temptation for a time and into the devil’s snare, being led astray by teachings that are wrong and not according to truth, still harboring lies, hatred, rivalry, greed, and all things that are not in line with God’s righteousness —
You must hold firmly the identity of a Christian, turn away from the wrong path, and return to God’s righteous way;
With the leading of the Holy Spirit, be truly renewed from the heart to your conduct, becoming people whom God delights in;
You are the temple of God; you must not defile God’s temple;
In all things you must prove that you truly belong to the Lord;
Faith is built upon the foundation of Christ;
You must take root in the solid Rock;
Be strengthened by the grace of the Lord Christ Jesus, relying on truth to face this evil age;
No matter how rampant the forces of evil are, no matter how great the storms of the environment may be, and even if some may fall or problems arise within the church, still use faith to firmly resist the evil one, endure to the end, and hold fast to the truth you believe;
Those who follow the Lord, who obey the Father’s will and walk in the path of righteousness, are the ones I know, the children in whom I delight;
Those who bear My seal are watched over and shown mercy by Me;
They are the ones who will be with Me in My glorious kingdom in the future;
Therefore, to receive incomparable glory, you must not continue walking on the wrong path;
Do not become someone whose life has breaches yet refuses to repent;
Those who only pursue lust and do not walk the path of righteousness — their end is destruction;
You must always turn away from unrighteousness.
Scripture
2 Timothy
Chapter 2 Verse 19
“But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal:
‘The Lord knows those who are his,’
and, ‘Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.’”
2 Peter
Chapter 2 Verses 10-15, 17, 20-22
“…and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority.
Bold and willful, they do not tremble as they blaspheme the glorious ones,
whereas angels, though greater in might and power,
do not pronounce a blasphemous judgment against them before the Lord.
But these, like irrational animals,
creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed,
blaspheming about matters of which they are ignorant,
will also be destroyed in their destruction,
suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing.
They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime.
They are blots and blemishes,
reveling in their deceptions while they feast with you.
They have eyes full of adultery, insatiable for sin.
They entice unsteady souls.
They have hearts trained in greed.
Accursed children!
Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray.
They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor,
who loved gain from wrongdoing…
These are waterless springs and mists driven by a storm.
For them the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved.
For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world
through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
they are again entangled in them and overcome,
the last state has become worse for them than the first.
For it would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness
than after knowing it to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
What the true proverb says has happened to them:
“The dog returns to its own vomit,”
and, “the sow, after washing herself, returns to wallow in the mire.”
Psalms
Chapter 19 Verses 7–14
The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul:
the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:
the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold:
sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
and in keeping of them there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors?
cleanse thou me from secret faults.
Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins;
let them not have dominion over me:
then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart,
be acceptable in thy sight,
O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
