(2025.09.10 The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit)

You are all members of one body, and this body is Christ. Every part is perfectly connected and united in me. This body must be built up in truth and grow, until each person is made mature and complete, reaching the full measure of Christ, united together in the Lord.

I have arranged each member as I desire, assigning every person different gifts and abilities. Each part has its own function, all meant for your common benefit.

Therefore, no one should boast in their gifts or abilities, for they come from the God who created heaven and earth, and all that will be accomplished is in my hands.

Each of you should use the gifts you’ve been given to wholeheartedly serve in the house of God. Work diligently, love God and love others, and care for one another.

But in the body there are weak or sick members, as well as strong and healthy ones. Since you belong to one body, the whole body must be built up together. Those who are strong must not focus only on themselves, nor think of themselves as greater. They must humbly serve according to the Scriptures, helping the weak with truth and the righteousness of God.

And those who are weak (spiritually sick) must also recognize that they are a part of the body in need of healing. They should be willing to be restored and put in the effort to be renewed. Only when the weak are healed and made strong—full of beauty and honor—can the whole body truly display glory.

Stay close to me often, and pray to understand my will. I will show you the good path.

Desire and pray earnestly for greater gifts, that your spiritual life may mature. Walk with me, hold firmly to the way of eternal life, and receive the everlasting life that is whole, healthy, and glorious.

Scripture

Ephesians

Chapter 4 Verses 11-13

“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers,

to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God,

to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.”

Ephesians

Chapter 4 Verses 15-16

“Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,

from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped,

when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

1 Corinthians

Chapter 12 Verse 18, Verses 22-27

“But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.

On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,

and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor,

and our unpresentable parts are treated with greater modesty,

which our more presentable parts do not require.

But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it,

that there may be no division in the body,

but that the members may have the same care for one another.

If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.

Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

James

Chapter 1 Verses 17-18

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,

coming down from the Father of lights,

with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth,

that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.”

Psalms

Chapter 45 Verse 4

“In your majesty ride out victoriously

for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness;

let your right hand teach you awesome deeds!”
