(Prayer to receive the Lord’s words on August 12, 2025)

To live out the truth, you must follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit, listen to My teachings, and keep My commandments.

The Bible is not meant to be only read and known, nor to be taken out of context so you can follow just the parts you like. You must obey it fully, understand My works, and know how to act in ways that please Me. Only when you understand the truth can you know if your actions meet My standards—so that your spiritual life will not suffer loss, and you will not remain under My discipline without even realizing it.

The words of the Bible are not for judging the words and actions of others or those who have wronged you. Instead, by reading it you can see what happened in history and learn from it—how people in the past became corrupt, provoked My anger, and ended in destruction. Even though they were My chosen people, they never reached the finish line or entered the promised land to receive salvation. You must understand why, examine your own ways, and avoid sharing in evil so you do not corrupt yourself in sin and perish as they did.

Those who do evil may not receive retribution immediately, but the justice each person deserves is in My hands. Those who are hard-hearted and refuse to repent are those I am angry with, and they are set apart for destruction. So do not let the devil stir up your heart when someone offends you, leading you into anger and hatred—that will harm your spiritual life. Do not give place to evil thoughts or criticize one another. If you understand the truth and fear Me, you will choose to forgive with love and face problems with spiritual wisdom. Love lets you release the pain and stop remembering the wrong, so you can be free from sorrow and live in peace. Your good actions can help others turn their hearts, see their faults, and protect their spiritual life—and I will remember you for it.

Through the Bible’s teachings, examine your words and actions to see if you are walking the right path and doing what is right in My eyes. Care about whether your spiritual life has been damaged, whether there is still impurity and a lack of holiness and completeness. This affects your personal spiritual life and whether you can gain eternal life and enter My kingdom.

Do not turn from someone chosen and called by grace into a detestable person with no share in the blessings of heaven. Treasure the life I have given you. Strive to do good, live a beautiful life that reflects holiness in your spiritual walk, so that others see your righteous deeds and give glory to Me. Use your holy and beautiful life to influence those still suffering in sin. Do not fix your eyes on the evil of others. Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. Do not bring shame to My name—for you were born to glorify My name.

Scripture

Proverbs

Chapter 10 Verse 17

“Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life,

but he who rejects reproof leads others astray.”

Proverbs

Chapter 21 Verse 21

“Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness

will find life, righteousness, and honor.”

Romans

Chapter 14 Verses 10-13

“Why do you pass judgment on your brother?

Or you, why do you despise your brother?

For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God;

for it is written,

‘As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me,

and every tongue shall confess to God.’

So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.

Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer,

but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance

in the way of a brother.”

Galatians

Chapter 6 Verses 1-10

“Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression,

you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness.

Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing,

he deceives himself.

But let each one test his own work,

and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.

For each will have to bear his own load.

Let the one who is taught the word

share all good things with the one who teaches.

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked,

for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.

For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption,

but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

And let us not grow weary of doing good,

for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone,

and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

1 Peter

Chapter 3 Verses 8-12, 15-17

“Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy,

brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Do not repay evil for evil or reviling for reviling,

but on the contrary, bless,

for to this you were called, that you may obtain a blessing.

For

‘Whoever desires to love life and see good days,

let him keep his tongue from evil

and his lips from speaking deceit;

let him turn away from evil and do good;

let him seek peace and pursue it.

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,

and his ears are open to their prayer.

But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.’

… but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy,

always being prepared to make a defense to anyone

who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you;

yet do it with gentleness and respect,

having a good conscience,

so that, when you are slandered,

those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

For it is better to suffer for doing good,

if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.”

Matthew

Chapter 5 Verse 16

“In the same way, let your light shine before others,

so that they may see your good works

and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”
