(2025.5.14 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)
After I washed away your sins with My precious blood, you were meant to be clean. But many of you still remain spiritually unclean.
That’s because after baptism, you did not walk in the path of righteousness. You strayed, and did not break free from your sinful nature. You continued to do what is evil in My eyes and failed to walk in the way of truth.
This is why the Bible teaches that when your feet are washed, your whole body becomes clean—a symbol of full sanctification.
You are called to live a life that is holy and set apart from the world, to be righteous and to do what is pleasing in My eyes.
After baptism, you must remain holy. Walk the path of sanctification, follow Me, and stay on the right course. Do not return to impurity. Turn away from the road of sin.
Do not be slaves to sin anymore, and don’t let your heart be ruled by evil desires.
Pray that the Holy Spirit will dwell within you. Through the Spirit’s cleansing work, you will be led to walk the way of righteousness and cast off your sinful nature.
Always remember—you are a redeemed people. Let this identity be deeply rooted in your heart.
You were made to glorify My name and proclaim My salvation and the gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven.
Be humble. Serve one another. Speak words that uplift and build others up.
Grow in your spiritual life so that both you and those around you may benefit.
Testify to My grace, stand firm in your faith, forgive one another, be patient and kind, and be united in love as one body.
I became flesh and came into this world to wash away the sins of all people and give you eternal life.
This is also the purpose for which you were created—to be freed from sin and receive new life.
May you earnestly seek the way of life, understand the truth, and bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Break away from sin and become a new creation.
Constantly reflect on your actions and allow the truth to cleanse you again and again, until you are holy, complete, and truly Mine.
Let the path you walk in this world remain straight and true.
Always remember that you are the redeemed, and keep pressing toward your goal—Heaven—until you finally enter into eternal life.
Scripture
John
Chapter 13 Verses 3–5, 8, 10
Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into His hands,
and that He had come from God and was going back to God,
rose from supper. He laid aside His outer garments,
and taking a towel, tied it around His waist.
Then He poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet
and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around Him.
…
Peter said to Him, “You shall never wash my feet.”
Jesus answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no share with Me.”
…
Jesus said to him, “The one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet,
but is completely clean. And you are clean, but not every one of you.”
Ephesians
Chapter 6 Verses 14–15
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth,
and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
and, as shoes for your feet,
having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.
John
Chapter 12 Verse 50
And I know that His commandment is eternal life.
What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told Me.”
1 John
Chapter 2 Verses 24–25, 27–29
Let what you heard from the beginning abide in you.
If what you heard from the beginning abides in you,
then you too will abide in the Son and in the Father.
And this is the promise that He made to us—eternal life.
…
But the anointing that you received from Him abides in you,
and you have no need that anyone should teach you.
But as His anointing teaches you about everything—and is true and is no lie—
just as it has taught you, abide in Him.
And now, little children, abide in Him,
so that when He appears we may have confidence
and not shrink from Him in shame at His coming.
If you know that He is righteous,
you may be sure that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.
Psalm
Chapter 29 Verses 1–2
Ascribe to the Lord, O heavenly beings,
ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name;
worship the Lord in the splendor of holiness.
Hebrews
Chapter 13 Verses 20–21
Now may the God of peace
who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
the great shepherd of the sheep,
by the blood of the eternal covenant,
equip you with everything good that you may do His will,
working in us that which is pleasing in His sight,
through Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
