(2025.1.24 Pray and receive the Lord’s words)

You should love one another, because I first loved you and gave you my love, and you also should love one another with love;

Be peaceable with all men, gentle and humble, with meekness, patience, peace, kindness, love;

If someone offends you, do not bear a grudge, do not care about other people’s wrongdoings, and do not seek justice for yourself. Otherwise, it is easy to accumulate anger in your heart and complain, and further you may do things that are not beneficial to others or yourself. In this way, we are prone to suffer losses, live in hatred for a long time, have no joy, and fall into sin. You do not glorify My name and offend Me.

You must know that I do not delight in arguments, quarrels, disharmony, anger, hatred, and divisions. Be the first to make peace with others. Be patient, forbearing, reconciling with words of peace.

You must prevent breaches from happening. Don’t be the one who creates chaos. Be the one who repairs breaches. If you see a breach, you must immediately block it and not give the devil any room.

You should understand that strife is the devil’s means. All destructive work is caused by Satan, which makes people gradually lose their love and replace love with hatred, causing chaos and breeding evil things. When there are too many evil things, how can we enjoy peace?

Only by acting with the truth can we resist the devil’s schemes; use spiritual eyes to see what is happening and use the truth to solve difficult situations;

If you reject evil and do good in good, I will show mercy to you for what you have done; justice is in me, and I will reward each person according to his or her deeds in the end;

Encourage one another and support one another with love. Just as I have loved you and begotten you with love, you also must love one another and be united in love.

Scripture

Ephesians Chapter 4, Verses 29 to 32

“Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

John Chapter 13, Verses 34 to 35

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Proverbs Chapter 15, Verse 17

“Better is a dinner of herbs where love is than a fattened ox and hatred with it.”

Matthew Chapter 5, Verses 23 to 24

“So if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

1 John Chapter 4, Verses 7 to 12

“Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.”

Colossians Chapter 3, Verses 12 to 15

“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”
