(The Encouragement of the Holy Spirit, 2025.12.17)

All who call Me Lord must live as clean and holy people in this evil and defiled world. Only by being set apart can you escape the evil of this crooked and rebellious generation. Though many things may be permitted, not all are beneficial. Do not allow anything unclean to stain your life. Flee from and stay away from things that bring no spiritual benefit, that harm your spiritual life, or that lead to destruction. Detest the unrighteous words and deeds of those who live in rebellion. Actively reject and distance yourself from sin, or else evil will seize the opportunity to influence your thoughts and lead you away from the truth. This concerns the salvation of your soul and must not be taken lightly.

The evil one feeds people daily with fear, hatred, jealousy, greed, falsehood, pride, self-righteousness, and despair, seeking to strip away their trust in God. He captures their hearts, draws them toward the world’s temporary sense of security, blocks repentance, and leads them toward death, causing them to destroy their own lives without even realizing it. Be careful in all things, so that you do not fall into temptation. Stay alert, and do not be shaped by the world. Do not become a stumbling block to others, and do not allow yourself to be stumbled.

People of all nations, pursue the good way—pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Let God’s righteousness be the standard for your actions. Do not live however you please, and do not follow your own path. Put God first, submit to His commands and instructions, and no longer live for yourself. When persecution comes and you are tested, let your faith remain unshaken as you continue to rely firmly on God. Let all you do be motivated by love—love God and love others. Labor for God’s household so that those who belong to His kingdom may increase day by day. Even when surrounded by injustice, do not repay evil with evil. Face people with patience and gentleness, exhorting them so they may recognize their wrongdoing and repent before God. In this way, you keep yourself unstained and also help rescue souls.

Pursue the virtues of faith. Let your heart be illuminated by God’s light, and let your inner life be renewed. Whatever is true, honorable, righteous, pure, lovely, and worthy of praise—think carefully on these things. Break free from falsehood, for Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Do not imitate evil, and do not live in a false light. Do not dress up appearances with lies, and do not deceive yourself. Live with genuine godliness and an honest heart. Guard the noble identity of those who belong to God’s kingdom so that God may be glorified. Become upright, righteous, and blameless people. From the inside out, keep yourselves holy, with pure motives and minds not polluted by the world’s trends. Have hearts that are kind and gentle, not creating division, hatred, or conflict. Live out the life of Christ, bear witness to God’s grace, and glorify His name.

Blessed are those who truly hope in God’s kingdom. Those who persevere in doing good, walk the path of righteousness, and live set apart will be delivered from evil and protected from the schemes of the wicked one. In this life, you may suffer for holding fast to the truth, but if you endure to the end and remain faithful to what you believe, a glorious crown is being kept for you. According to God’s righteousness, at the appointed time, He will give you the portion that is rightfully yours.

Scripture

Genesis

Chapter 4 Verse 7

“If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?

and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.

And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

James

Chapter 2 Verses 17, 20–22

“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Was not Abraham our father justified by works,

when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

Seest thou how faith wrought with his works,

and by works was faith made perfect?”

Romans

Chapter 2 Verses 6–11

“Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

To them who by patient continuance in well doing

seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth,

but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil,

of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;

But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good,

to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

For there is no respect of persons with God.”

Philippians

Chapter 4 Verse 8

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,

whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just,

whatsoever things are pure,

whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report;

if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,

think on these things.”
